based on the Spin.PH video yesterday, Homer Sayson said Thirdy's contract specifically states if he isnt part of the final 12 of WC, he needs to go back to Japan. i dont know if thats on all the Pinoy b league players (obviously not Parks) but i would think something similar is in place same goes for the KBL players. so planning next months team with them as a lock would be very very be unwise. if someone is allowed, that should be considered as bonus. besides, PBA moved their calendar this year to accommodate WC and the Asian games. time to shine.

Yeah, Oftana, Newsome can be considered from the cuts. Current PBA players like Marcio and BGR too.

I think PBA draft applicants should also be considered. Tuffin, Villegas, Galinato. Invite other college guys like Mike Phillips, Kai Ballungay, Chris Koon, Francis Lopez (although UP's in a trip now).

That's too bad, 2023/24 B. League season starts on October 5 pala. It seems that they really didn't consider Asian Games in their scheduling.

AK is definitely needed,Junmar will be a little tired at some point after playing in the WC,I hope to see Mike Philipps too.

i will not expect china will impose an OCA rule they might use the fiba eligibility rules, China alongside South Korea are the biggest home cookers in asia

And with japan might get that Olympic spot in asia… China will use this Asian games to please their fans too… I’m sure even they are jealous what Japan achieve today… it’s gold or bust for China to salvage their pride as basketball nation too just like Philippines… as for Philippines, now the rumors that no b-league and KBL players available for Asian games… it just only PBA players will play and that’s trouble for gilas fans… with possible coach Tim cone as a coach… he will rely only what is available in the pba and that hurts… because only little players are only considered there…

What kind of rebuild? Asian games is a few weeks from now? Who will coach and who will be the players? If kbl and b league does not allow their players, hugot sa PBA plus brownlee?

I think it's because the Ravenas, Kai, AJ, and Dwight might be unavailable for this tournament, since it's close to the B.League season.

There are only a few useful players in the PBA now. Sure, we have June Mar, Japeth, Malonzo, Scottie, and Perez, but they just came from the WC and all of them but Malonzo are 30 or above within this year. And then there's Newsome, Oftana. Erram and CStan have retired. Almazan's poor. Pringle's old (36 now). Will Navarro is still injured. Gian Mamuyac, possible due to his defense and potential for scoring.

Maybe we can call up Mike Phillips, Kai Ballungay, Schonny Winston, those guys too?
