Actually this is bigger compare to past tournaments fiba does… before, fiba can’t even generate money because the tournament is not enticing.. it was an amateur event in the past… the total revenue of FIBA is 368 million US dollars while FIFA has 1.115 billion US dollars.. that is huge difference between the two.. despite that, the way FIBA already bigger these days, every tournament will grow and the prizes will be bigger… Other World Cup in other sports are much smaller compare to FIBA prizes…

they do, theres a reason why Korea dropped nike as their kit, and in 2012 in our jones cup win nike wasn't our kit.. its like an endorsement also..

now if i were to play mark cuban then i'll tell everyone straight up that i highly doubt it that all the major nba stars played for a per diem only especially the naturalized ones

maybe to the likes of luka and jokic and giannis money doesnt matter as long as they represent the motherland but i'm sure there are other players there who will ask for compensation or in the case of team usa a "stipend" provided they medal (USD100,000 is what they got paid during the olympics)
either someone is making money (ehem those jersey ads for instance), or is using the NSA/Gilas as a tax write-off.

Pretty sure that the Paul George 2014 injury made players think twice about not getting compensated for their nteam duty, especially that they are gambling on their health ( long nba season grind)
