This is all on Cone and SBP. I cannot believe that Cone who is supposed to be a "great" coach overlooked this, and SBP allowing it to get this far, even getting the players to practice with them and show off pa to the fans (paasa effect). So who the F was responsible for listing the 60 names and why is it not public and even worse, why can't Cone just choose whoever was available from the existing list?? Unless the names on there were useless to him that he had to pull names from the outside??

Chot did not anticipate being forced to resign before the Asian games. He chose the pool. He and TC have different in preference of players. TC and Al Chua just have to suck it up and accept that unlike in the PBA they can't have special rules for SMC.

Nope. Chot is also the program director and supposedly he should have had the foresight in planning also for the Asian Games since it is only weeks after the World Cup. Regardless if he remained as the coach, but being a program director you also would need to preplan the preparation for the Asian Games. Chot only stepped aside as the coach but I do not see anywhere that he also let go of the program director post. So big fail on both him and SBP for this new debacle.

I dont agree. Cone and Chua know the Asian game rules. They know the 60 players Chot submitted to the Asian games committee. Isn't it very simple just to choose among those 60. Why even consider players outside of those. Stick with guys like CJ because they are in the list. This is actually also Chot's fault but Cone and SMC accepted the responsibility in behalf of him. They should follow the rules no matter how unfair it seems for them. If they didn't like it why take over from Cone at all.

Then why the heck were Cone and Chua insistent on adding Abueva and Perkins to the team even making a big deal of it on the news with the whole "the beast is back" gimik to the casual fans?? Anu yun paasa?? When as you stated, Cone and Chua should have known of this agreement with the 60 man list! So what will be Cone's excuse this time? Well one thing is for sure Abueva, Perkins and Tautuaa arent on the list, and with the news that Romeo's addition to the team is questionable makes one wonder if he really was part of that 60 player pool. And the SBP it seems is on the defensive with the way it is refusing to reveal to the public Choke's 60 man player pool, if anything those open door practices with player selfies and the hyped up Gilas tune up game with LG Sakers are part of SMC's attempt at damage control knowing that the chinese will reject their appeal for some roster changes. The pro chot Sikatrix seems to have clamed up about this as well lol
