Offensive firepower is the name of the game in pba nowadays..so magnolia and Ginebra and even meralco needed to prove me wrong on this..
Thing with Ginebra is, their roster doesn't have a go-to guy without Brownlee. He unlocks their offense. No Brownlee, big problem. SMB and TNT have their go-to guys in June Mar, Perez, Oftana, and Pogoy. Arvin and Bolick are the only other local go-to guys in the PBA.

2nd-best offense won the championship despite their defensive frailties (defensively weak frontline, but strong on that end in the PBA context).

        • Wow. I just woke up to this. I never expected SMB to close out the finals series last night, given that they were trailing at the end of 3rd and were not able to overcome late 2nd-half deficits on their 2 losses.

Contrary to popular belief its still the same player its just that he will not get the same touches and will not be as efficient as Ginebra couldve wanted...
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                  1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Wasnt pringle the focal point of bgsm's offense prior his injury, he was the BPC during the pba bubble.

He was also a regular fixture in the mythical team prior the injury.

He was a solid support off the bench (offensively) during the Bay Area series and he came off a long break from his injury that time.
