Anyone know what the deal is with Mac Belo?

He's definitely a serviceable PBA player yet hasn't played for Meralco for what seems like 2 years? Haven't even seen him on the bench.

pba negotiating with bay area to return, but they want the dragons to field one import for the entire conference (but why not allow teams to sign a backup/reserve import db?)

League disparity is a joke. NLEX should be sold ASAP. Blackwater and Dioceldo Sy is a disgrace, just like Perrapirma.

It's not hard to actually fill Caloocan Sports Complex. For basketball games, the seating capacity is just 3,000. That's why PBA should regularly visit smaller venues like this one, especially during eliminations.

yes, regular season games should be held in smaller arenas in nearby provinces, ynares and cuneta for 1st rd playoffs while semis and finals should be held on MOA or the Araneta.

Visually yes, financially no. I doubt they charge them with the exactly like in Big Dome. Again Teams are adding cost to their budget with this preseason games to increase marketing reach.

not bad, their rosters are more fit to play FIBA rules, SMB’s roster built is good enough to coast in the all filipino cup but is severely outclassed in the easl due to lack of length and mobility

Yup those two teams have locals that can compete internationally. Most of those are Fil-fors not home growns but this is a start. Hopefully, this stirs PBA further away from the Junemar-era of pound in the paint basketball.

If I remember correctly Soyud played for NLEX and TNT before being traded to Phoenix and Marvin Lee played for UST I think.
