  • Before I die, I have two wishes: firstly, to see cities and islands connected by a bridge or railway, and secondly, for PBA to become a regional league so that I can support my CAVITE POGO Stars team when CCP takes over PH.

BAD still undecided if Powell or Nicholson would be their import in the PBA

I remember that they allowed it (San Mig light) on concerts inside the Big Dome. Maybe they could allow it in PBA games but on controlled servings. They'll probably price the audience out of it anyways.

                • if there is no children watching the game for me I'm cool on that but that proposal is quite touchy because minors are also watching side by side with adults..that's my take on that topic.

I hope the PBA, UAAP and NCAA learn from FIBA on the number of personnel allowed to sit on the bench during games. Just essential staff. Visually its better. Here we see PBA governors, team mgrs and assistants, 6-8 coaches and so many players on the bench. Dami pumapapel.

The opening of the new PBA season is practically still two months away after the opener was moved to November 5 due to the Asian games.

Correct if i'm wrong but I think that scheduled opening is too close to the 1st window of 2025 Asia Cup qualifiers. Good thing it's highly likely that Gilas regulars from the Asian pro leagues can be tapped for the said qualifying window. Makes me think how PBA will adjust to this as probably half of the NT roster would come from it.

                              • Well there are whispers that the real reason they moved the season opening is that there are a good number of teams that have yet to secure an import, this due to the awkward scheduling because by this time many of the servicable imports are already signed to commitments in other leagues where the money is better. They are using the Asian Games as an excuse to give teams more time to secure their imports while making themselves look good in the eyes of the fans.
