These are the Filipino players that will surely return next season.

Those that have strong chance to be re-signed:

    Jordan Heading - Nagasaki Velca
    Thirdy Ravena - San-en Neophoenix
Bobby Ray Parks - Nagoya Diamond Dolphins
    Dwight Ramos - Levanga Hokkaido
Dwight has just re-signed for Hokkaido up to next season: https://twitter.com/levangakousiki/s...621430273?s=20

Well, at least he's in Japan for a little longer.

Better than waste his talents in the PBA.

RJ Abbarientos got a warm welcome pinoy-style from Matt Aquino. ( Binatukan ). Gawd im old having seen Matt's dad playing basketball with RJ's tito many times before.

Marlou and Johnny practically started their careers at the same time. They were both hyped: Marlou as PHL's most trailblazing big man ever (6'9 na hindi lampa and hindi bano ) , and Johnny as the next great PG.

Played 31 minutes. 15 points on 5-6 shooting (4-4 3PT), 5 rebounds (1 offensive), 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Great start to him. Sure, against a recently-promoted team, but he played well, and took open shots. Defended the post well too. Hustled hard as well and boxed out.

Still needs to work on switch defense, but he'll get better.

That is good thing now with Tamayo playing in B. League, which not every Pinoy import experience.

That extra time this offseason away from the World Cup NT duties allow Carl to heal and get better. I dont think his injury is that serious to begin with, to be medically excused from NT duties, as evidenced by his appearances in videos in Japan. Carl probably felt it would be better for him to pace himself and allow his progression on his own terms. His last tour with Chot wasn't as nice either. So maybe that also factored in.

And as you can see from the game clips, he lost those baby fats, and is now lean. Maybe he's faster too.

I think that Carl Tamayo will be better utilized by Tim Cone under his triangle offense. Just look how bigger the role of Calvin Oftana this Asiad under Tim Cone
                        Attack
                        defend

It helps relieve Brownlee from playing the PF role.

JB is a natural small forward. He is most effective when he is a wing.

It’s like Jimmy Buckets playing the 4. While he still scores, Butler is simply more effective as the 3. I’m tired of Adebayo playing C. He just doesn’t cut it.

Agree because, let's be honest, for all the prospect that Carl Tamayo can play the 3, he is still a natural 4 and there is nothing wrong with that. He is pretty skilled at 6'7 and being a 6'7 power forward is not that undersized in the World level.

Keita Imamura the Ryukyu star led the japan B in Asian games, so odont ever teall that Japan send spring cickens in asiad
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                              1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

True, Oftana played well under Tim Cone or even under Coach Tab system. Tamayo will fit well with CTC. Bleague exposure help Tamayo not just financialy but he looks to be fit and a better wing player against imports that are tall and strong instead of being just a center and powerforward in Pilipinas league.
