I watched the whole game live and Kai did ok even in the first half. It’s just that he didn’t have that many touches on offense. Kai only missed once in his 8 fg attempts for the whole game. In the second half, they deliberately looked for Kai. Gibbs and Kai kept the Alphas in the game. Too bad team’s guards, esp no.7, sucks…!
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

Alphas coach takes a page from Tim Cone to maximize Kai's potential. They must've watched the FIBA window games.

Well that's not even triangle offense. Soares is to low for opposite big. Only 3 players should be on strong side

            • AJ Edu played for Nagasaki Velca last weekend. Good to know he's OK. I think he just needed some rest that's why he didn't play for Gilas in the 2nd window.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

                        • What is the status of James Spencer in Japan B3.league is he a “world import” or an “Asian quota player” ? My understanding to be considered as “Asian quota player” he must at least played at least 1 game in senior NT at FIBA sanctioned tournament. I don’t recall Spencer has had played for Gilas.

Well, there are still nine of them (3 in division 2). However, other teams opted to sign players from China, Taiwan, Korea and Thailand. Not to mention, the league now opens its doors to the West Asians.
