Well, Parks is one of few players that I know that has qualities of a franchise player that has no issues taking the role player's role for his team.

Sorry I’ve never seen a good game from Parks in Fiba. Physicality can throw off his offense, limiting him to be a catch and shoot player. His lack of phyiscality also affects his defense. Heading might be less talented and less athletic but you know what you’ll get from him day in and day out.

Wright in Gilas uniform really frustrates me a lot. When playing in the PBA & now the B-league, he shoots well for his team, but playing for Gilas in the FIBA game, he's tentative to shoot & is missing open 3-pt shoots. I actually had a high expectation from Wright when he entered the PBA.

I think Jordan Heading is more serviceable for Gilas than Wright. Nakaka shoot talaga si Heading sa FIBa game eh.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

A tale of two halves for Kai. Good thing he turned it around after a dismal 1st half. Kai’s perimeter game should continue to improve, for his and his team’s own good, as there are very few good passers to feed him a la Kawamura on their roster.
The issue is how many opportunities will he get to shoot. As most of his movement is towards to the basket

More like he wants the ball in his hands all the time.

Guy is 31. Why the fuck does he still have an ego? It’s Gilas. The only name that matters is the one on front of the jersey.

He change his role from nagoya to osaka.. now he's a scorer, in nagoya he was a defensive stopper/spot shooter..

He can be a role player if you give him a certain role..

                    • 26 pts and 10 rebs for Kai as he got a double-double again but another loss. Another thing about his team is most of the players are old af. They got a 44 year old world import, more than 5 locals who are passed 36 years old of age. I mean this is their chance to stay in the BLeague Div 1 already and they could have invest on a lot of younger good players.

How did Kai do defensively? I read about the 4 blocks, but overall, how was he on that end?

He was actually pretty good in this game. The opposing bigs seemed uncomfortable attacking him, and he's definitely improving. However, he still doesn’t fight for offensive rebounds; instead, he just watches the ball to see if it goes in when his teammates take a shot, but I guess fighting for offensive rebounds could take a toll on his stamina. Scoring isn’t really an issue for him.

I wonder why he couldn’t be “unleashed” under Chot.

Then again, no one aside from Clarkson was gonna work out under Chot.

Chot works best with great shot creators ala Jimmy, Castro, Terrence, and JC. Even JB.
