Makes sense. I think the Fiba rule is you are eligible for the seniors if you played for the juniors. I think that applied for Heading. I am not sure that Hagop rule was applied in the juniors when Heading played but his eligibility carried over.

that's how heading & matthew wright became eligible for the seniors team. wright was pre-hagop while heading played when hagop rules were already implemented

      • Yuki might go from throwing lobs to Kai into throwing lobs to Edey lol. This feels good news for BLeague players including our Asian Imports because it looks like the scouts are looking at the BLeague as a strong league also. Maybe I am wrong because I think Yuki's talent is exceptional regardless of where he plays.

Good offensive player but will be abused in defense. He is pampered in the B league, almost no teams attempt to post him up, partly also because of the zone. In the NBA, the mismatch against him will be the very first option of opponents.

That's why he's buff for his height yet it didnt compromise his mobility

                • Crazy to think that it's been 10 years since Togashi played in the NBA summer league. An overlooked aspect of why he's comfortable playing against elite-sized players even though he is so short is that he went to the US for high school and played for powerhouse Montrose Christian.

Japan's development buildup of their players has been at least a decade old.

Probably why when he gets a hard contact,he just brush it off, doesn't get all riled up,after all a basketball contact is a breeze compared to trying to get thru a 300lbs+ Lineman and getting hit repeatedly play after play.

I always felt that,Yuki was using Kai to pad his stats and to the eyes of scouts,Yuki good facilitator and made an average tall player a good player, while Kai can barely make his own shots and if not for Yuki probably 80% of his points won't be on the board.

Different Yuki. Metta meant YukiTogashi, BLeague's 1st Million $$$ player. Kai's Yuki, is Kawamura, also pint-sized. but yes, i guess both Yuki Kawamura and Kai benefitted from playing with each other.

I always believed that Yuki pad his stats and the way scouts looked at it,he made an average tall guy to a scoring machine,on the other hand it made Kai looked like a guy who's too dependent on Yuki and he can't make basket on his own.Hopefully in his new team Kai won't have someone who's just going to use him as a pad for their own stats.

I'm a bit concerned for Kai's defense. He needs to contest a few more shots in the paint and position himself better. The defense I saw in the Emperor's Cup, I don't see it so far this game.
