    Since college?

*I understand if he wanted out at Denver... Coach Malone seldom gave him chances....
BUT with Orlando - he had stretches as starter in terms of usage and plays... hopefully number of teams (thin rosters) gives him that interest and usage again:
    Spurs for the obvious reasons...
Wizards? (octane offense w/them kuzmas and pooles)
Raptors, Bol fits into those Toronto types of players right? (Skilled and interchangeable players)

Block? Easy 2 - points? only them Magic knows... that photo is mid-air...

*why would an NBA team will release something to somehow depreciate its own? - hence "mid-air" for us fans to speculate and keeps interest

The consensus was he doesn't contribute to winning basketball. Maybe a veteran team can reign him in if the cost isn't that high.

Pathetic assumptions, would ORL post a picture that could malign a player in their tweet?lol kahit 1 inch pa separation ng sapal at tira di padin yan block.haha

You cant just help but laugh at the comments on this thread. They think basketball is just purely a race that players should be running at full speed all the time. They think pro ball is youth bball.lol

To all those quoting me, who among those ATG bigs I mentioned could shoot jumpers and any other shot with the same accuracy using both hands? If you cant name one, then you are really an overly opinionated casual bball fan.

Also, to analyze your doomsday prediction against kai wont help diminish his chances.lol you might eat all your words in the end. Basta ako ill just wait and enjoy the journey. If Kai was decent against way older competition, then i like his chances over those near his age.

            • The Orlando Magic have waived the versatile 7-foot-2 Bol Bol, the team announced on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time).

              • Magic's roster is essential full. 15 guaranteed contracts.

                2 way
                signed Harris
and 2nd round pick Houstan is yet to be signed , so will probably use it on him

Like last season they left 1 two way spot empty.

Orlando is full in the frontline.

                • Bol Bol’s turnover highlights. See one of the reasons why Orlando did not bring him back.

Meanwhile the Orlando Magic promoted former NBA guard and 2-time EuroLeague MVP Anthony Parker to General Manager.

                  • Caleb Houstan signed a 4 year / $8,207,398 contract with the Orlando Magic, including $4,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $2,051,850. In 2023-24, Houstan will earn a base salary of $2,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $2,000,000 and a dead cap value of $2,000,000.

Make it a habit to read analyze instead of always stating your opinions. I have posted this info here and always with links.

Also, just additional info goga and moritz contract were only for 2 years and the 2nd yr i think isnt guaranteed. If they will sign Kai as a two way player, then another yr of experience and hardening would do wonders for Kai. Kai is gradually nearing his peak while those two are already in their prime. They could groom Kai as their replacement depending on his development.

                    • Thanks for correction on Housthan,
anyway half of the SL rosters (Kihei, Kai )have really little chance 1%) of getting an offer this year. As in previous years (combine uninvited within 2 years removed of draft entry)., not much to argue , can just wait again for a repeat of history panning out as predicted.
Let's cite the accurate real situation rather than making things out exaggerating expectations. (e.g like expecting an uninvited combine will be drafted)

The logic on why probability is so low is simple, if you were not accessed as a top 100 prospect in last 2 years, (200 prospects) it's just improbable for a player to improve drastically in 1 year. (Obviously didn't happen with Kai). . Note there are not 200 new rookie spots every year . (Just around 50)

                      • I think Most of the Posters here Dont really give Kai a chance in landing an NBA Contract, for me am still not closing the doors completely, although the chances of him landing a spot is actually slim. Other players were still drafted at a much older age so unless Kai continues to improve defensively he will find it hard to get into the league.

                        • Kai slim chances isn't unique to Kai, it is the same for everyone with similar profile history ( undrafted, uninvited- combine- 1 year after draft entry) so as not to make it personal, this isn't about Kai , i think let's just be proud for what he's accomplished so far , which is unprecedented for a Pinoy homegrown and realize he should be a contributor to gilas for a good decade. Now as to eventually making the NBA like 4 or 5 years from now. , let's not set any expectations as that's so long and so far away , so many milestone steps are required ( e.g. top import in a major overseas league) before we can even have that discussion

when accessing Kai chances, it should't be in the perspective of him being Pinoy to remove bias, but view him as an American undrafted, uninvited in combine 1 year from draft.

You imposing this reduction way of thinking to favor your argument.
Simply, when accessing - we take all the pros and cons.

again you're missing the whole point , it's never been about who one favors or not to argue one's case , but about critical thinking assessment, the process of being agnostic to biases such as nationality is indeed part of critical thinking assessment , when Kai has to be the exception to the norm (e.g only one uninvited and undrafted in 2022 to get an offer in 2023, that is absolutely flawed analysis assessment )
