what baffles me is that kai, his handlers, their media brigade, the vloggers and the kid's fanatics have gone literally all in with this summer league gimmick. man, honestly i just want the kid to first find a league and a team where he can play not even major but more meaningful minutes (quality over quantity) as well as develop a go to move on both offense and defense before his name is even put in the same essay with the nba.

NBA teams are not looking for starters nor highlight machines in the summer league, they are looking for the 10-15th man in the roster, that could play high quality basketball in few minutes.Last edited by Silent Killer; 05-20-2023, 06:05 AM.Philippine Malditas to FIFA Womens World Cup 2023

He already accomplished a lot.
First Homegrown Filipino to play for G league Ignite and NBL Australia are already great feats.
(I wont call him a disappointment whether he makes the nba or not, though I am supporting for him to do so)
Anyway, I hope he performs well in Summerleague and Gilas.
Hello again Inter. Be right back maybe when SL and WC starts.Last edited by mathematicianrcg; 05-20-2023, 04:26 AM.

If a player can play a role in the NBA enough to warrant an offer, that is NOT determined in the unstructured exhibition showcase like the SL, but in Ignite practice and the 75 games for real teams in NBL and B league.
as far as the assessment on whether Kai is good enough to play a role in the NBA , that's already been answered with the big sample size of 75 games over 3 years , and it's a definitely a NO, not good enough.
Do not make much of this summer league opportunity, it's quite insignificant really. Note many who've makde the league like Cooks opted to skip summer league as it they determined it provides no benefit to them to showcase further their game. One's level and suitability to play a role in the NBA is primarily determined in league play (g league or overseas leagues) not SL

Yeah the people who had no balls to talk when Kai was rising through the ranks are suddenly flapping their gums because of Kai's reduced PT in the NBL and B League. I have my own concerns about how honest Kai's been to us fans but at any rate I still support him. Marami kasi dito mga Devin Booker, they only talk when they're up.
There will be no "toxicity" and conflict here if there weren't any obsessed fanboy who moonlit as Madam Auring.
If the critics are quiet when he "rose the ranks", the fanboys were also quiet and lost their balls when he was not drafted, when he got bullied by NBA rejects in Australia and Japan. You are also quiet despite how his MALAMYA effort on the court reminded everyone of Kobe Paras.
Quits lang diba? Pot calling the kettle black. May balls ka pang nalalaman. LOL
Besides, people don't question his improvement. He will no doubt eventually be an awesome MVP caliber player in the PBA.Last edited by greenarcher; 05-20-2023, 06:04 AM.

You accuse me of the one restarting the toxicity, yet you leave Peezones out of the equation? So much for BEING OBJECTIVE, right?
There, I totally admit that I am just trolling you now.

I was here when Kai wasn't drafted. Even posted during my family vacation since there was no TV there and the Wifi was so slow. I've also mentioned numerous times how I don't like Kai's effort in rebounding. So no, hindi "quits" lang. I've been here the past 3-4 years during Kai's highs and lows. It's only now that I'm laying low because I'm tired of arguing for that long.
Besides, nobody is saying any opinion is toxicity. I'm addressing the post that called ME toxic for sharing my opinions.
As for the Evan Mobley, Chet, and Wemby stuff, I didn't agree with Kai being better than them. Plus Kai HAS games where he either scores or defends well against NBA "rejects", yun lang it's few and far between. You talk about Kobe Paras because I almost didn't talk about him on IBN. I was not arguing for him nor against him. It's time for the assumptions against me to stop.

The whole thread was already toxic, but we were obviously not talking about that.

"Deserve to be put in their place" lmao? Who made you the arbiter of anything Kai Sotto? Methinks I successfully angered somebody when I said this thread was full of rich guys who never listened to anybody who didn't agree with them? Bullseye ata.

No, I used the metaphor right. SK was the one who started using the word toxic, which I replied to. The Lasallian tried mocking me, not knowing that I wasn't the one who started it, unknowingly frying his own comrade.
The whole thread was already toxic, but we were obviously not talking about that.
It's pretty obvious you hate Kai's critics no matter how neutral you pretend to be. Then you say you "agree" with what the critics are saying. Ano ba talaga kuya? Make up your mind. If you "agree" with our observations, your reactions would be different.
Do you have a problem with reading comprehension? You call out the critics for having "no balls" and I was saying the same goes for the Kainatics fanboys, not you in particular. Does this mean you are a fanboy? Affected ka sa sinabi ko eh. Why don't you call them out and say they don't have balls as well? Your replies show your true colors.
Methinks you are trying so hard to set yourself apart from PeeZones. In reality, you two are not so different.Stop pretending to be an objective, rational, neutral supporter. It's obvious you're not. You're not fooling anyone here.

if a mikey williams who had extensive ncaa and gleague experience cant cut it to the nba, what more a Kai Sotto. Same with those pba imports who dominated the league but never made it to the nba

its just that the ivy league is not a competitive conference in the ncaa hence him going undrafted since teams are unsure if his stats will translate well in the nba
