Poor kid, really. It seems that it is actually his parents that are holding back his dream and basketball development. It's not like his parents are PWDs to make him the breadwinner.

And that's downright manipulative of his mom. I hope he doesn't do that to his future kids.

The thing is Kai is no longer a kid now and an adult already . He should be the one making his own decisions. Iknow this is a personal matter but some of the best basketball players had it worse but that didn't stop them from playing in the NBA..

Right now, Kai is 22 years old.

And he is playing like a Generational Asian Player Already.

Barring injury, I reckon, he will have an effect in asian badketball like Haddadi did for Iran, and Yao Did for China.

Hopefully, someday, he makes the Nba whether that will be a role player or a bench player.
