The way Sotto has been playing, he might as well match up with Euro bigs... but of course levels to this game. Kai will see waaay better weakside help defenders to double team and much stronger mismatches. Taipei threw everything at Kai and he's just too big and too skilled.

course he is, the tallest guy they have is 6'7. Like I said in my earlier post he can easily dominate teams who have short, less athletic, and not so strong players. It shows in this game.

This is the kind of mindset is one of the reason why he didn't go so far. He really thinks the coach and the system should be the one that fits his style instead of him adapting to it.

I think Kai is speaking the truth. TC is a good big man coach. From Hawkins, Juinio to Thoss, DeVance and Pingris. This Taipei game will not tell us anything though as they probably have the weakest bigs among the teams we are facing. At least Kai can dominate against 6'5-6'6 centers.

Kai already proved he can score againts stronger and taller players just look at his games in NBL and Bleague.

He just needs to get stronger and be consistent which i believe he will.

Again kai will be a very very important player in gilas success.

He should consider it once he's past his prime maybe in his early to mid 30s. But right now, he should focus on getting the bag and improve his game. Kai is top 1 most important player in Gilas, he'd just become stagnant in PBA. Who he up against here anyway? Junmar, and both aging Cstand and Japeth? Not only that there's that stupid height limit in PBA.

Yeah, agree. Taiwan doesn't have good quality local centers right now. It is actually Taiwan's glaring weakness since the retirement of Tseng Wen Ting (Long Hair) Wu Tai Hao & Tien Lei.
