they should really give up on kai being a unicorn, yes he looks good against training cones, chairs and randos from TSF, but in real games he’s just to slow and unathletic to play the 4, heck he’s already unplayable as a 5 in certain matchups

Build strength and play the 5 exclusively or keep trying to be a unicorn to get more clicks.

I'm old-school but I believe having a reliable 5 is still essential.
Still don't understand why Spo insists on Adebayo playing the 5.

Not according to his biggest supporters,he will start being great at 27-28 so his 30s to 40s are his prime years,I'm sure am looking forward to that.

let's look at the timeline
kai gets injured vs the celtics on july 16
kai's 1st practice with gilas is august 15 (when he was cleared by doctors to practice)
that's a little over 4 weeks after he got the injury
was that enough?
gilas' last game was against china (sept 2) that was 3 weeks ago - assuming he didn't do any basketball training between then and now that's 3 weeks rest, so maybe hiroshima will just ask him to rest until the week of Oct 16.

Karreem doesn't do alot of power dunks or unecessary jumping around, compared that to Shaq who just doesn't do a dunk he powers dunk all the time and with that 300lbs+ weight coming down on his knees and feet its just a matter of time, just like Chocolate Thunder Dawkins before him,too much dunking ruins their knees specially for giants.
