I dunno anything about local showbiz but she seems like a she's not the best person to idolize? I've seen some posts from my feeds and it seems like a lot of young girls follow her, Zeinab, etc. Don't want more girls to end up like her

It's not a stretch to believe AJ Edu is a way better FIBA player than Kai will ever be. Even at an NBA-type game when bigs are expected to switch on quicker players, AJ has better timing and defensive awareness than Kai. It's just that AJ's release is just as slow as Kai and isn't as comfortable posting up (more to do with Kai being much taller). Maybe Chot puts AJ and Kai together vs Angola, but Angola was keeping it close against Italy until they ran out of ideas offensively and starting missing shots.

Kai isn't really that good at posting up too.. but Kai's Achilles heel imo is his rebounding. Old and post injury JF was forced to play extended minutes because he brings those to the table

The Edu > Kai equation argument since their youth days has been verified last night. People were quick to throw out Edu’s chances to make it into the NBA because Kai was the better offensive player. But now they were proven wrong as Edu has the better motor and defensive skills to make it to the NBA.

Now the die hards know why coaches of Ignite, Adelaide, Hiroshima and Gilas never trust Sotto to finish the game or even get major minutes; Sotto’s inabilities in the defensive side of the floor.

He will definitely have a difficult time against the jump shooting bigs of Italy. But Sotto may have a chance to show off his offense against the slower and lumbering bigs of Angola.

well pre injury edu was quite strong in and agile in the post granted that was against 17 year olds when he debuted for the U18 team, truth to be told this is the 1st time in 5 years that edu is playing for gilas again, i don't count the 2019 FIBA U19 world cup because he got injured early in their 1st game.

i still remember the U18 semis against australia where edu was the only player in double figures for gilas and was the only one the aussies were intimidated with including a young samson froling. kai only had 2 pts in that game and was largely ineffective against the aussie frontline.

it's also going to be a reach for any nba team to gamble on edu given his injury history, having said that an nbl stint for me is quite possible.
