A place is just a place, its up to the lawmakers to pass a bill if they want to change the name,I mean how they renamed places, streets, bridges, parks, etc if they want to,the issue is describing a person a derogatory name shouldn't be in this forum, its the same way if some foreigner calls us gooks or Flips.

              Ivory Coast, not Dominican Republic.

              • in terms of stats, Kai is consistent regardless of the league and level of competition (9 to 10 pts, 5 rbs)
                is this good or bad?

but 4 rebounds for 20 mins pt and for a 7'3 player at that? for comparison aj edu went for 12 pts and 7 rebs in 24 mins.

Those numbers are good enough for our national team but that's basically just a benchwarmer stats on any other league. If he's averaging at least 15 pts 10 reb 1.5 blks a game in NBL that's enough for him to get drafted as 2nd round pick but that wasn't the case.

if under the fiba world cup context those are great numbers already although i would hope he gets more than 5 rebs a game especially if he will play at least 20 mins

however if we are talking enough to generate nba interest then no of course and again its the rebounding number more than the points that is negative

Old Junemar had 13 pts and 2 rbs in almost 12 minutes. Kai also played almost 21 minutes. Junemar is not as quick on the boards after his injury though.

If you watch him in Japan and the summer league you won't be surprised anymore. His boxing out and rebounding flat out SUCKS.

Can't boxout properly and doesn't have the strength to hold his rebounding position.

                              • rebounding is not just about height, yes its a big factor but positioning, timing and effort are what make someone a great rebounder, look at rodman, and in the pba scottie and calvin abueva
