Have you seen the last qualifiers he attended, those are the roles he will surely play, the threes will just be a bonus if ever left open just like AJ. He will not be ask to really score since we do have JC. And don't kid yourself that "puso" was with the kid since he's youth days.

His last game in the SL,facing a much shorter burly player,he was chucking 3s,AJ can hit 3s even when there's a burly man in front of him,I really hope to see them against each other if the Bleague will sign AJ.Chot is the last one to decide if Kai would even get a touch or just make him rebound and defend,knowing Chot ball stays with the guards and perimeter shooters,or a big man who can dribble and drive.

I always believe AJ has more chance of getting into the NBA than Kai. Kai relies on internet hype but hasn't proved anything, he just hops between league to league hoping the coach would give him more playing time. AJ defensive IQ alone trumps all of Kai's upside and that's a fact. It's just unfortunate that he got injured twice in a row.

I agree. Although Kai is good, I think he looks for highlights plays too much instead of just doing the dirty work of defense and rebounding. Instead of shooting the open shot he tries to drive at times which is not really his skillset. Even Porzingis usually goes for the open 3 instead of driving.

This WC,might be his coming out party,if Chot let him freelance a little bit,I'm sure there will be offers from Bleague to the NBL,hoping a Gleague stint would be in the works before SL next year,I hope he signed with a good management.

Very high likelihood against Italy and DR. We'll probably put our best defensive 5, make the game an ugly low-scoring affair. Let JC go Michael Jordan and just have shooters ready outside. A slow, low-scoring game and hoping we get lucky with the 3 at the right moment.
