Even if Kai somehow get to play in this tournament and produce some really good numbers, that's not a guaranteed contract anyway.
He already played in NBL, Australians play exactly like Europeans with more physicality. He was not effective there either, what makes you think he's better suited in Europe?
Not as structured as the European game and more free flowing like the NBA, but with FIBA rules.
In my opinion the NBL is still the best place for Kai to develop. The problem is NBL players get paid peanuts compared to Japan, China and top Euro clubs.

I doubt he will be able to crack Europe's Tier-1 leagues but I'm pretty sure Tier-2 is doable.
Unfortunately for him, it seems MONEY is the only thing that concerns the people around him.
Money + Shortcuts + Unrealistic Goals + Limited Skills = Recipe for Disaster
That’s the issue with Philippine politics man. It’s sad it’s even in sports. Kai could live been in a much better position if people around him cared about his development and more honest with him.
I wouldn’t mind him playing in a tier 2 league in Europe and can maybe help the team play in the Eurocup or something like that . It’s still a step up than the PBA and better exposure.
I don’t know much about him, but isn’t he rich cause his father was a player? I wish his management just stopped getting too greedy and supported him without thinking money first. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

I mean Kai had 2 seasons to develop in the NBL. He just developed a lot slower than what most people anticipated. This stagnant develop along with his obvious flaws is what most likely turned off NBA scouts when it came to draft time.
At that age is when you should have rapid development and Kai's ceiling for potential upside is obviously limited.
Kai most likely will still become the Filipino GOAT and make millions of dollars in Japan and China. That really is something not to be ashamed about.

I understand the Jordansexuals Kobesexuals, Currysexuals, and LeBronsexuals. They rooted for players who were a good basketball players. But telling me Kai is better than Wembayama is delusional. he even pm me some propanities

though both not productive, Kihei got limited mins like Kamaka yesterday.so would fans want to watch limited play time? or just stay in bench if playing time wont be significant?WE DON'T COUNT YEARS, WE COUNT CENTURIES

I know that him making the NBA roster is a longshot, but it hurts that the reality is that it is even more far than we expected. For now, please focus on the National team Kai, add more to your game.
For the haters though, I hope you are really happy seeing him 'fail'.
Sad day again for Filipino NBA hoop dreams.
I'm happy delusional fans finally realizing Kai is not as good as they think and that Wasserman cannot give him an NBA spot.
