Yeah, our perimeter defense has to be alert against Indonesia. The scary thing is, they're shooting better than they have at any game last year. Best they shot last year was 45%. This game, they're at 22-40 (55%).

I hope we learned from last year. We lost to them due to lack of tactical and personnel adjustments on defense. Good thing this Gilas group has the effort and mobility to play defense.

Actually, even with the improved competition, I'd still like to see a roster of majority college (and even HS) kids 24 and under, along with a few veterans that are capable in international ball. At least they'll get exposed to the level of play early, and they can develop. At the same time, the vets can mentor and help the team keep in step, and maybe help the team in crunchtime.

Gilaa requested the Indonesia vs NBL1 videos.. so yeah I've seen their level, Indonesia actually best the Illawara Hawks training team (no imports or starters ). So yeah they're good. Gilas has been preparing for them (definitely)

IND vs. Gilas will really be a dogfight.. remember they really did everything and prepared so hard to qualify for the World Cup.. plus of course they also prepared for for this as defending champions.. this will really be an entertaining and interesting game...
