Yeah, Ateneo has done that for quite some time. Honestly the style fits Filipinos more than the traditional PG to C lineups. Instead of having a bigman at 4, they usually have either a tweener in Verano, or a wing like Navarro, Koon, or maybe Ballungay in that spot. Though, they can have a guy like Daves (who also has mobility) manning the 4 too to guard bigger players.

Positionless basketball, really. That's what Tab tried to build in Gilas.

I think the biggest difference between what they're doing now and in the future is that they will be focusing more on getting a skilled 6'8" center instead of trying to find the next Ange Kouame, compensated by being taller in all other positions. Another is playing at a faster pace; I don't expect them to milk the shot clock in the future

i feel sad for the two student-athletes that will be demoted to team b because of these two, no way they’ll be dropped from team a, the amount of money the escandors and mikee romero poured in dlsu guaranteed their spots on the bench.

during the pandemic (Season 84) teams were allowed to have 20 players on the active roster. Same rule applied last season (season 85)

not sure if the UAAP reverted to the 16 man active roster for the upcoming season

Active roster is 16 with 3-4 as reserve players. Reserve players do not loose eligibility year if not called up to varsity to replace player who comes down with COVID.

Chiu doesn't contribute much in terms of stats but there's a dog in him, he's perfect for his role. Demisana doesn't fit that role so he will have to develop more aspects of his game, and it's probable that it takes him longer than most people expect.

Yeah I don't see him as a Chiu type of player. Like I said, it might take longer but his length and shooting form gives him more upside than Chiu.
