How come the reports by Nav says UP and DLSU are the only ones actively pursuing him? Odd that there aren't many more.

"Actively" because the status of their program and actively/hype in social media. FEU is not like that. Knowing Nav it's always UP-DLSU-ADMU on his reports. hehehe. other schools are very rare on his reports unless if controversy.

a lot of times when DLSU/UP recruit a player the other schools backout since they know they cant offer the same package

If that's the case then he needs to polished his skills more. There's a mystery about Gamber tho, he's nominated in McDonald's all American, but for me he didn't perform well in U-18. Knowing that CTB is high on him.

He's not gonna be Carl's replacement if UP get him, and he still has no dog in him. Gab Demisana's a better defender, but worse offensive player.

But from a Pinoy talent standpoint, it's always gonna be hard to replace Carl's combination of size, talent, and competitiveness.

5 rebounds is terrible for a big (even a 4), period, especially considering the minutes he plays. He played 30, no?

I agree. I have been saying this ever since seeing him play in BGU18, lacks toughness, tenacity and motor.

If I would choose between him and Pablo, I would definitely choose the latter as he has potential to be a very good defender and rebounder.

Very intrigued by Belmonte's upside. Kid can have the type of impact that Rhenz Abando had in his first year in UST but I doubt with the playing time that he most probably will get since UP is quite loaded in the wings.
