I've seen a lot of improvement on that 6'9 kid Brix Versoza, comes from an impoverish family from the Visayan(?) or Mindanao(?), I hope his handlers from Uste knows there lessons if they want to pattern his game to Abay, if the ultimate plan is to parade the kid in the international market moving forward they need to orient/teach the kid how to approach a pick n roll play and how to defend a player from the perimeter which is Junemar's Achilles heel now if the ultimate plan is only on the PBA, well Abay 2.0 nga talaga.
Kids must be motivated to play with Fire in the Belly and a Dawg attitude...being a Probinsyano I hope it won't be harder for the kid compared to kids who grows and live in a highly urbanized area.

As I said from the other thread(?) socmeds has it's own pros and cons wherein negativity outweigh positivity but on the case of that kid he got the attention of the majority when someone from their area posted some pics in a particular platform that leads to that (low level)KMJS tv appearance with Abay then the rest is history.
Oh well, I agree with you Sir Joe that our scouting process and players development are not yet on that level that we were expecting as a basketball loving country but definitely we've seen some improvement lately.
just to share some personal stuff, be aware of a certain platform( I ain't a subscriber) my hot blooded fellow teammates in the India Tango Dept. shared to me thru their respective smarthphone a handful of videos of young sexy lads in a skimpy revealing outfit dancing with a provocative music in a provoking move(ayan na si Kaka bubu@#$ka buk@$%) and to my horror and surprise several of them are daughters and cousins from my distance relatives, damn! majority of us here in IBNverse are hot blooded males and I am not a hypocrite but seeing your own daughter, sister, nephew, grand daughter to name a few swaying it's sexy body in that platform is already below the line..I really need to talk to my relatives of those misguided gals.
just a friendly advice kindly check the cyber accounts of your respective children because those stuff are very rampant nowadays.
as I said, negativity outweigh positivity nowadays in a digital era.

I agree on you on this on a certain level.
best example on this as well is Chris Tiu(brought up by one of our fellow IBNers), filthy rich guy but doesn't hesitate to mix it up.
it really depends on certain personality, but in reality kids coming from impoverish level just like me who had no options in life needs to motivate and ignite some fire in the belly if I want to had a decent living.
Case to cases basis really.
