Well UP got away with not having Diouf kicked out due to ligang labas and Lopez being fielded despite signing a contract to go pro so I wouldnt be surprised if the UAAP bends its rules again for them.

ofc we always lose out the battle in the boardroom. They barred Ben then became lax with FSA ruling. But yeah, I know JD can have another year for UP. But their backcourt has already been filled out for the longest time. Bahay's even entering the fold after.

Bahay should just go to ateneo, they could use a point guard lol, his pals gamber and mason are already there, not to mention his ateneo de cebu teammates plus all the PG minutes he can have. Beside's its been proven that talent alone on a stacked team cant win you a championship, why not learn from one of the best coaches to ever do it in the uaap while he's still there. This game pretty much shows how overrated coach gold is anyways, besides not calling the shots on defense, doesnt make necessary adjustments leading to questionable playcalling. Imagine not winning it all with that stacked team geez.

Did uaap change its transfer rules with uaap to uaap transfers? He played a year for dlsu, served residency and played season 84-86. Isnt his eligibility exhausted already?

The college basketball season has been bizarre. UST wins the womens, La Salle wins the men's and Mapua is at the cusp of winning the gold.

Tbh i don't really mind the rule change, its just the timing that's fishy. Changes like this should be made at a certain point in the beginning of the new calendar season, made known to the public. Not sudden and in secret.

UP was the deepest team yet they cannpt develop closer players.. cortez is physically weak and not uaap ready but was Beda's offensive player..UP needs to develop one if they cannot get a premier big, lopez role is to support that guy

KQ and Nelle literally handed the ball to UP during endgame. UP failed to capitalize.

If it's your time, it's your time. It's crazy how KQ only had 1 turnover the entire game even with the defense thrown against him. That 1 turnover almost cost them a championship he's lucky they got away with a win. Haha
