Seems like UP was just forcing shots, trying to go big all those times, unfortunately for them, those didnt went in for them. Even in that last moments of the game, alarcon forced a long range shot even with lots of time remaining. Not only malick but the whole team shot 56% from inside the the arc as a whole. -
KQ and Nelle literally handed the ball to UP during endgame. UP failed to capitalize.
If it's your time, it's your time. It's crazy how KQ only had 1 turnover the entire game even with the defense thrown against him. That 1 turnover almost cost them a championship he's lucky they got away with a win. HahaComment

I don't mind KQ turning pro now. It's not as if Tamayo left UP with a polished game. They've already proven to be useful at the FIBA Asia level. The problem with KQ is not his shooting per se, but he's a hesitant scorer from anywhere outside the paint. He already has a go-to move, he just needs to have more weapons like a catch-and-shoot off the pop because it'll be on the scouting reports that he will always be pass-first.Comment

Does UP have an FSA eligible next season? Is he as tall and as good a defender as Malick? If not, they might have problems next year. Just look at Ateneo without Kouame. Is Mike Philipps graduating? If not, he should use this off season to extend his range and/or develop some moves under the basket.Comment

Im pretty high on ududo with his performance last year when he was still with guang ming in pinoyliga and filoil semis, he did ok with uaap level competition. Seeing alian play with lsgh last year, he has solid bball iq and a pretty good hustle player. Havent seen him this year if he developed his playmaking but he does have the tools to be a starting guard in the future. Rubico naman is your westbrook kind of player who does a bit of everything for you but again, im not sure how it'll translate in the uaap. Has david developed his playmaking skills?
