  • Looks like UP vs DLSU in the finals

    Comment

    • Epic showdown between 2 healthy powerhouse teams. Hope all games will be down the wire. Hope DLSU doesn't choke!

      • Finals game 1 on wednesday?

        • UP can't afford to have that bad shooting against La Salle. While DLSU's box and one scheme will not be effective against UP.

          • On purely non x&o’s view, UP in the finals third straight year, goldwin and his NU boys had multiple championships in the juniors, they have the depth, statistically number 1 seed won it all 60% of the time. Experience+Talent+History, they should win this probably in 3 games. DLSU is due for a loss already, probably happen in game 1.

            • dlsu should be the under dogs here. Up can win in so many diffrent ways

                • I'm still impressed with how ADMU performed this season. People forget they are rebuilding with 9 rookies. It's amusing how guys are comparing them with last season's team.

If Obasa did not get into foul trouble, the conversation today could have been very different. The score indicates they controlled the tempo. And now we find out that Koon has been playing with a fractured foot and Amos had a fever yesterday. Gomez is another one for me that could have been vital. He was crucial vs UP last season in the finals but also has a broken hand.

UP vs DLSU will be showtime. Both want to run and gun. I think it will boil down to who between Diouf and KQ can be the best player of the series. I'm also expecting the graduating Cansino and Nonoy to go all in and be difference makers.

yeah i agree on this. considering that they are rebuilding with 9 rookies(? damn) and made it to final 4 is still a feat tbh. i think the curve ball was when padrigao left when the season is near. if padrigao was there very likely they woul'dve made it in the finals tbh.

he has a good bball IQ and have a fundamental understanding of how to defend.

                          • So Geo Chiu already exhausted all his UAAP eligibility? Then, basketball-wise, there are no other logical options for him but to join the PBA draft.
