        • Precious Momowei of University of the East has been issued with a one-game suspension. The suspension comes in the wake of Momowei’s second unsportsmanlike foul during their game against De La Salle University last Sunday. The 6:43 mark of the second quarter proved to be a pivotal moment, marking Momowei’s second infraction of the season. […]

No Momowei for UE's next game against Ateneo.

Adamson University head coach Nash Racela has officially received acceptance from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) for his issued apology following controversial remarks made during a press conference last Sunday. In the aftermath of Adamson’s match against Ateneo de Manila University, Racela weighed in on the Blue Eagles’ chances of reaching the […]

Even his apology sounds arrogant. haha In any case, the UAAP should make these post game reports available more often.

              • The UAAP schools are a very self interested group, I don't know why they'd favor Ateneo. Click hungry journalists and the TV carrier sure but the UAAP? It doesn't make sense.

For this conspiracy to work, MVP/One Sports have power over the refs? That sounds dumb.

                • With that post game report being made available, the film itself already there online. Its pretty cringy for some of their fans still standing by nash's statements, no matter how people explain it to them, in basketball terms or not, they still believe nash's words. Geez they're just giving nash the license to spread more excuses next time they lose. Hate coaches like that, those who uses refs as a reason why they lost.

                  • This is nothing new to Filipino sports fans. Pag natalo, nadaya. This accusation has been commonplace during Black's Ateneo days. It's a coping mechanism for the coaches and at the same time, it sells to the masses.

very childish imo, parang playground fight lang tas naghanap ng kakampi thru some ue fans haha geez. Instead it being a teaching moment for boys, ang nangyari pa tuloy it discredited not only ateneo's efforts but his boys as well, not to mention big disrespect to uaap, and gives fuel to the fire for the haters pa. Ang nangyayari tuloy, whenever ateneo or big budget schools win against small budget schools like them, lagi na lang may sambit na luto raw against them. Toxicity at its finest.

But getting a late college start at 21 just means you've been sandbagging earlier. Play Up mentality has to start at the early stages. You can't repeat a grade or get held back if you're passing you're requirements, so failing becomes necessary (an advantage) for those who want to Play Down. There will always be excuses, while those who want to constantly Play Up finds ways. Gemao is a good example.
RJ graduated HS at 20 or 21. Yet he was also playing up 3X3, One and done, gilas. Sometimes people dont like showing up to class. KQ FDA’d some classes

People just have a tendency to root for the "underdog", whether rightfully so or not.

How to apologize when you really don't want to apologize 101.
