I think the better measurement for schools should be the following, more than the championships:

1. How many decent professionals (read: decent rotation players) have they produced (of course, massive bonus points if a player gets to play overseas)
2. How many useful national team players they developed
3. How have they contributed to the advancement of tactics and player development in Philippine basketball

This is why Ateneo has been such a good program. Produced many useful pros, in the PBA and abroad, developed guys like Will Navarro, Larry Fonacier, LA Tenorio, who became effective NT players. Most importantly, they made schools like NU and UP adjust to them tactically and in terms of recruitment and player development (at least in developing the blue chip recruits; still need work in developing raw prospects).

I'm from UP, I like the gains that we've made, but we need to do more in producing decent pros (better if they go overseas) and NT players, and also, adjust your offense; defense is already good. Of course, we need to develop raw prospects as well as blue-chippers.

UST maybe a comfort level for Padrigao. Since UST has acquired Zamboanga native Rhayyan Amsali, whom Padrigao played with in Batang Gilas.

At the same token, he know coach Yuri because Yuri was part of the Ateneo coaching staff. There are interaction between the two at Moro as the junior team practices are also at Moro just ahead of the senior team.

6'3-6'4 forward, will probably be a wing for adamson, athletic highflyer, solid defensively, needs a bit more refinement for his skills but kinda old tho so not sure how many playing years he got left.

I know he played for us in san pedro for liga laguna. Not sure about other leagues, wonder if it will affect his eligibility for uaap.
