Wow so Cuenco and Recto were part of AU juniors? Sayang naman had they and SJ Moore committed to AU seniors then they would have had a better record.

Escamis is already 23 years old. With or without the championship, Escamis will most likely go pro. He will be ROY and MVP at the same time. It will generate similar interests as Rhenz Abando.

Jacob Cortez is younger by two years than Escamis. He has a higher odds of staying as he is only 21 years old. The Cortez family would love to see Mikey (17 years) play alongside Kuya Jacob next year.

Mikey's options are us ncaa div 1 or san beda.

i read somewhere starting this year the ROY will be given to those direct out of HS and a new award "New Comer of the Year" will be for those transferees due to new awarding selection. the anchor and the analyst stand corrected yesterday when they said ROY-MVP si escamis. is this true?

If so, who's gonna be roy? Can't be rosillo since he got suspended, only other guys from high school i can think of who played significantly are beda's nygel gonzales and letran's stephen garupil. The rest like argente, ochavo and etc are all either from team B or transferees.

I heard its Freshman of the Year for fresh out of HS players like Peter Rosillo (Mapua). Nygel Gonzales of SBU got suspended and is not eligible anymore.

                • Mikey should be in the u18 team
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                  1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Also, heard Paolo Hernandez will turn pro as well, if they get the championship, MPBL then PBA draft. This will open up more scoring options for Recto, Cuenco and Rosillo.

                      Cardinals graduating players:
                      - Bonifacio
                      - Soriano
                      - Toby Agustin (undergone ACL surgery 2 weeks ago)
                      Possible players turning Pro:
                      - Escamis
                      - Hernandez

Current Team B players, waiting for Season 100:
                      - Aaron Fermin 6’6” C
                      - Noel Agemenyi 6’4” F
                      - Edward Ryan 6’4” G/F
                      - Yam Concepcion 6’2” G
                      - Jerry Rivera 6’4” G/F

Top players from Mapua Red Robins:
                      - Nico Mulingtapang 6’0” PG
                      - Ronjie Go 6’6” PF/C
                      - Sean Salvador 5’11 PG/SG
                      - Aki Valina 6’2” G/F
                      - Lance Masiglat 6’3” F
Boss, that Andreo Santos 6'4 kid from Red Robin i believe has the highest upside, long limb and plays like a guard.

Our Team B is quite loaded, i cant remember when they had this much guys in their pool...That John Jabonete cebuano kid is good, how many years of eligibility does he have? I believe he was a former teammate of Bancale from CIT

                          • In terms of the PG positon . I don’t think Escamis is surely top 5 in terms amateurs. He might not get the offers one would expect unlike Abando who was a top guard prospect for the college level.

                            Remogat
                            Lastimosa
                            Padrigao
                            Gonzales
                            Nelle

Then Kyle Paranada, Cagulangan , Baclaan and him are all probably in the same tier.

Agree with all of you saying remogat and lastimosa as the top tier, tho for me escamis is on par with the next 3 guys you listed. He's a better playmaker than paranada, better size and defender than cagu and baclaan. Had escamis stayed with UE, don't think remogat or paranada would have their breakout seasons due to them sharing the backcourt with escamis.

                              • Nelle and Lastimosa are 24 to 25 years already. That’s almost two years ahead of Escamis. I give them the experience.

But they are not as prolific scorers as Cortez and Escamis when they were like 21 or 22 years old.
