Fil-Canadian Puno is a nephew of former MBA Pampanga Dragons and Bedan Dave Bautista.

      Mostly a 5 or center.

This was the rate in the early millenium. Pong Escobal and Yousif Aljamal had a 25k monthly allowance in their collegiate days.

Oh, OK. So, he "mostly" plays center, so that means he can play 4, right?

But Pong was heavily recruited there are exceptions of course. An average player is within the 10k to 15k range. Amsali had 15 monthly allowance.

Manny Pacquiao is the new backer of Baste. How true?

San Beda Red Cubs coaching staff is composed of Ralph Rivera and current Red Lions assistant Francis Cruz for the NCAA team with Miko Roldan as head coach. The Under 16 team will be handled by Arnold Oliveros and Aldrin Lunas. Nice to see former players (Roldan, Rivera, Cruz and Luna) going back to their roots.

I dont see the Phenom boys in the team photos.

Phenom Championship Clinic of Tony Brodett. Although not officially part of staff, he helps with the recruitment and development of these boys for the Red Cubs. Unfortunately these boys dont end up in the seniors for some strange reason. The entire staff got the axe a couple months ago.

Wow I didn't know the Cure was part of the coaching staff. Hopefully we can get more cubs in the den.

And although the NCAA has a deficiency in 6'4"-6'5" wings (I think only Justine Sanchez, Mark Sangco, and Andrey Guarino are the guys that size that can play 3), it's not like the UAAP has that much of an abundance of those either, at least for many teams.

Yeah, in returning players from last season, UP has 6'5" Ashon Andrews, 6'4"-6'5" Aldous Torculas, 6'5" Mark Belmonte, Ateneo has 6'5" Josh Lazaro (I think he played the 3 in spurts), 6'5" Chris Koon, and maybe 6'6" Kai Ballungay, NU has 6'4" Jolo Manansala, Adamson has 6'4" Aaron Flowers and 6'4" AP Manlapaz, FEU has 6'4" Cholo Anonuevo and I think 6'4" James Tempra, and La Salle has 6'5" Jared Abadam, and that's it.

Maybe the two guys chose Beda because they feel that they'll be played as wings, more than the other UAAP schools.

i doubt? he lost so much money last year due to the elections, if true, here’s to another manny basketball side project that he will prematurely end (abl/mx3, kia, letran, mpbl)

Speaking of Mavs Phenom, are those players that good?
They are being hyped so much in social media, but i dont see them in any line up in UAAP / NCAA teams?
Or are they over age na?
                        Please enlighten me. Thanks.

There are levels in basketball. Those guys might look like scrubs against fellow collegiate players but honestly any of those guys are too much for your local liga's legends.

Apparently it’s true. Kallos of Sarangani Marlins in MPBL is now the head coach of Baste.

We’ll just see how it will pan out.

Hopefully we can at least retain dungo. Nacua and Marasigan will leave the den

yikes, hope he doesnt leave Baste dry and haging once he gets bored with them like what he did to letran, though in his defense, he made letran competitive during his tenure (not sure if he boosted the team during its 2016 run though)
