Coach Codera is really a good skill coach. I don't know why SBP doesn't send players to train with him; he basically throws himself into them and is very vocal about how he likes to train our players. Lopez, Chiu, Demisina, Caelum, and others can really learn a lot from him. But it looks like SBP is uninterested.

Too much Politics + Nepotism + Bureaucratic = Toxicity that’s SBP for you hence no grassroots development to speak of, an NSA run by corporate minded people who had little knowledge about FIBA basketball but rather more focus on Marketing, Endorsement, Sales, Gimmickry, Commercialization, Fashion and Entertainment and less focus on the word Competitiveness.
Wagan and Ludovice are a really good backcourt tandem. Watched most of them on the Cocolife team this summer. Ram Reyes used to dominate the age group competitions three years ago but unfortunately topped out at 6'0 and an estimated and slimmed down 260lbs++, Ples is a transferee from the south schools, his dad runs the Throwdown Basketball League, mobile and thin 6'4 guy. Nico Lorenzo is a solid 6'5 250lb center who is physical. Has the makings of a Wilmer Ong type.
Upon checking the the official FIBA calendar next year I haven't read nor seen that their would be a FIBA U16 tourney both for men and girls except for FIBA Womens Asia Cup to be held on July 16-23, 2023 with no official venue yet.
Check the Batang PBA competitions. There are some born 2010 players who are above 6 feet.
6'8 Andrewil Yap (2009) plays for NLEX in the 14U division and they will face off against Purefoods Titans / RP Basketball Club in the semifinals. In the other bracket, Cavitex (Gov. Delta / Pampanga) plays against Blackwater Red President. The winners of these two games will play for the 14u championship.
