"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Oh circa 2013, a team composed of the Nieto bros and Jose Lorenzo”Jolo”Mendoza that team we mockingly called the “Bantam Squad or the It It boys” because we lack the competitive height on all position for that FIBA U16 edition but we all know what happened our beloved “It It boys” defeated a much taller and higher ranked CTE kids for a chance to play the mighty China team for that 2013 U16 championship and eventually we booked a ticket for the 2014 FIBA U17 World.
I hope with the 2023 edition of the “It It Boys” we could somehow pull some surprises from the upper food chain despite the presence of the AUS and NZL compared to 10 yrs. ago

Watch his U16/U18 teams. His tactics are basically the same as his dad’s.
Let's just hope he learned from last year.

Fuckin Josh Reyes is the coach, and looks like he is planning to put a security agency with the overflowing number of guards at his disposal.

Thank goodness we only have Kazakhstan and Malaysia as the other opponents.
