Yes they're practicing. I'm not sure if they're better than Bon Daja, Benedick Jimenez, Daniel Sta. Maria, Pat Pasinos, Ziv Espinas and Brandon Yutuc at this point in time. The only bigs (above 6'2) left in the pool would be Edryn Morales and Jaime GDL.

These are 14-15 year old kids. And add to that someone has to bring them to/from practice so that person has to manage this schedule also.
Those who have not dealt with things like this do not know the difficulty these young players really go through along with their families.

that is why I am not warm and fuzzy about the propose return to the old school year calendar from June to March because there’s a lot of disadvantage from it especially when talking about the annual sports events and schedules like FIBA, FIFA, Summer Olympics among others wherein some of the major events jumpstarts during the month of June to August or up to 2nd week of September depending on how heavy the schedules of each Sports Organization. Another thing, I think one of the main reason why they changed the century old school calendar from June to March and con is because June to August is the usual typhoon months therefore class suspension is always prevalent during those times.
So it doesn’t make sense to revive that thing. Katawa tawa lang yan sa totoo lang (trans. Paging Sen. Will Gat and those few corrupt Deped officials don’t be a jerk please because there’s a lot of options to consider to lessen the impact of the Summer heat of March to April compared to the effect of typhoons starting from the month of June to August that leads to heavy flooding due to heavy rains and the only options for those kids is to stay at home)
Anyway, back to our FIBA U16 bound kids, because DDO Jr. is so much preoccupied nowadays with his father on that ill-fated senior squad. The question now is who’s handling the late evening training of those poor lads, tsk! Tsk! So sad indeed, I hope our poor kids may had a better showing despite lacking the needed financial resources, training, better coaching and height limitations.
Thank you very much SBP your one of the best national sports federation in terms of mediocrity.
