most nba executives think that a college senior has a lower ceiling for development, and heck, might already be on his peak, that's why those who exhaust all their college eligibility are usually late 1st round to 2nd rd prospects. While the underclassman are projected as lottery picks

Wembayama averaged 6.5 points (2FG: 37.3%, 3FG: 30.3%), 3.8 rebounds, and 5.5 PIR in 13 EuroLeague games last season.
So Far he is dominating an inferior league like the French league.
In his home country of France, Wembanyama played for Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 in LNB Pro A, the top level of basketball in the country. In 33 games during his 2022-23 season, he averaged: 21.6 points per game. 10.5 rebounds per game.

Expect Kings will further improve their play- off standing next year.. Vezenkov who I think will win Euroleague MVP this season reportedly will join Sabonis and Fox. I think they will unload Harrison Barnes paving more minutes for Sasha… and I believe Barnes will be a decent target for coach Pop as one of the pieces to surround Wemby.

The rumor is Spurs are looking to trade up (using their loaded draft capital) for a PG , 13th to 17th 2023 pick.
They will be patient and will grow organically. And may target White's return as a FA in 2025. ( when Wemby are further developed to hopefully All star level)
Spurs are focused on a defensive identity (a Pop thing), with Wemby and Sochan leading the defensive foundation.
