Whomever team wins at the Eastern Conference Finals will surely had a big advantage winning the Golden Larry O’Brien trophy.
I keep on saying this many times before and I ain’t surprise why the Miami Heat keeps on defying all odds because they had this battle plan during each regular season that they just cruisin’ around not being mindful if they are just in the middle tailend of the standings on each season, little did we know and away from the limelight that they are just sharpening their stuff in the background and they’re just waiting for the right moment to unleash it and starts peaking at the right time..for me that’s perfect.
I ain’t discounting the Leprechauns yet, despite that 0-3 hole and Jayson Tatum being groomed as the newest member of that very infamous The Choke’s Club and the Rookie jitters are beginning to creep in for Coach Joe Mazzulla, 34, being the youngest active coach this season handling one of the legendary team of the league, Oh boy!! That’s not for the weakeast heart really. With the likes of Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Malcolm Brogdon, Al Horford, Derrick White and the 2 Williams comprising the core and regular rotation.
I think in my own personal observation there won’t be a sweep in the East.

I agree on paper Denver > Miami. LA had a hard time against Jokic even with AD and Hachimura. I don't think Bam can handle him alone. Aside from Butler Miami doesn't have any notable offensive weapon. But let's see if the undrafted guys of Miami can again hold their own against on-paper guys better than them.

Miami heat exposes whats wrong in the nba. Lack of true development for players...and how the talent level between a so called prospect and a skilled but unnoticed player is not that far behind..To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

I know, but Jokic is in different animal than Robert Williams, Julius Randle and Brook Lopez (Giannis plays forward BTW)... Prime Davis can't stop Prime Jokic, We all know Bam can't handle Davis in 2020 finals... Let's see how coach Spo can figure how to stop Jokic... That Serbian matador is too intelligent to be outplayed... He's too big for Miami's frontline...Last edited by sroth3839; 05-23-2023, 01:16 AM.

I’m not discounting Coach Malone and the rest of the Nuggets they really deserve to be in the finals with Nicola Jokic and Jamal Murray as their own version of Batman and Robin with Aaron Gordon(6’8), KCP(6’5), Bruce Brown(6’4), Michael Porter Jr.(6’10) and Jeff Green(6’8) manning the 2,3 and 4 position..Man oh Man!! I like that length.
But were talking about Larry O’Brien trophy here and it’s a different atmosphere when your in that situation for the first time, yup I agree Nikola is a different animal out there and no one from the Heat can stop him when he is already in his sweet spot and I think the only test now for the dude is how will he handle the pressure cooker of a championship series…As for Jamal I’m beginning to be a fan lately…for coach Malone his job is now secured until the next season.
