              • With Nets trading away both Durant and Kyrie, the Eastern Conference this season is, safe to say, just a three-way race between Boston, Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

                • This has been the wildest trade deadline of some time. I thought the Lakers had a great trade with Russell the prodigal son coming back, then Luka nabbed Kyrie for the steal of the century, which was upped by KD to the Suns. All in a span of a few days, now Ja Morant is eating his words since the West just got that harder.

Kyrie IMO is a huge gamble given his mental state. He could bolt after the season or just choose to sit. Or say something stupid that gets him banned. Heck he could be the last straw that pushes Luka to leave. Heck he made the KD deal possible even though they still have a good chance in the East.

Or he could help them win a championship this year.

                      • The Spurs have traded Jakob ( for 1 1st round and 2 , 2nd rounds) and Richardson ( for 4 , 2nd rounds) - Good moves !.

Essentially the Spurs traded the two expiring contracts for 2 future lottery picks next 2 years 2023 and 2024. (via trading up)

So the envisioned starting 5 of Spurs in next 2 years looks like this

                        1. 2023 top 3 Pick ( Victor. Scoot or AmenThompson) - have 8 2nd round pick draft capital to trade up
                        2. Vassel
                        3. Lottery pick 2024 (from Toronto , top 6 protected) / Keldon
                        4. Sochan
                        5. Lottery pick 2024 ( Spurs 1st pick plus trading up 6 , 2nd round picks )

Essentially Spurs starting 5 by 2024 will be 5 lottery picks

That's how you build a team via draft and tanking LOL

I ranked LeBron over MJ and Kobe. Kobe is not even in the discussion. Dude only won 1 mvp and 2 finals mvp in 20 years. He also averaged 25 ppg on 40% field goal shooting in the NBA Finals.

Kobe is closer to Steph and Durant. He can now Rest In Peace.

                              • Just saw an old article about Jordan being a ballhog when he played for the Wizards. Michael Jordan averaged more field goal attempts per game than points when he played for Wizards. 25 field goal attempts compared to 21 points per game.

Jordan wanted to score over 30,000 points. Winning is not his priority.
that's why that wizards team never made it in the playoffs. that team ain't bad relative to their era and competitions i meant the east sucks in the early 2000's.

PHILADELPHIA – The coach, hand-picked by Michael Jordan, won’t dare tell him. The teammates, alternately awed and cowered by the legend, won’t let him know. None of the people aro…
