luckily ROS is compassionate and only fined/suspended him for 15 days unlike NLEX who’s exploring to terminate Quinahan’s max contract

I know, right? Given the venue it doesn't look like it was that high-paying a gig. Their gamble seems to have backfired and the players involved will wind up losing more money than they gained.

BEAU Belga has been slapped with an additional fine of 15 days worth of salary for his participation in several unsanctioned exhibition games.

Rain or Shine released the decision after it was found out during the team's internal investigation that he had also played in exhibition games not just in Cebu but also in Davao and Laguna.

Belga was initially caught playing in Cebu after the video of which went viral after he and JR Quinahan got involved in a fight.

"Rain or Shine Team Management has concluded its internal investigation and found that Beau Belga breached his PBA Uniform Players' Contract by participating in exhibition games in Cebu, Davao, and Laguna. A fine of fifteen (15) days worth of salary has been imposed on Beau," said the team.

The specific amount was not disclosed but the fine could reach as high as P210,000 if based on the maximum salary of P420,000 a month being allowed by the league.

Vosotros said that he may have rubbed people the wrong way when he was in Thailand because of his competitiveness, which could've sparked the inclusion of his name in the report.

"Siguro, honestly, baka meron siguro [akong nakabangga] kasi sa Thailand, iba din country, may mga ibang country na sumasali, may mga guest teams din like Singapore meron, I think Malaysia, and Philippine teams meron din," said Vosotros.

"Siguro, may nakakapikunan kasi iba yung pride ng Pinoy, as in di ka papatalo, ganon eh. Siguro meron."

Even as he vehemently denies the allegations of any involvement in game fixing, Vostros admits that there were instances in Thailand where he was offered some opportunities for game fixing.

"Honestly, in Thailand, yung pangalawang balik ko, meron mga nagmemessage, meron kumakausap during games pero di ko naman pinapansin, as in, focus lang ako sa game every time. Kasi sa Thailand, import ako eh. Lalo na nung pangalawang balik ko, yun yung medyo scary thing na may mga kumakausap, may mga nagmemessage, and for me di naman talaga maiiwasan yun as an import," he said.

As for how he's taking it, Vosotros is simply shrugging off the issue because there is no apparent truth in it.

With the SEA Games looming, and the Philippines eyeing a return to the top of the podium after settling for bronze in Hanoi last year, Vosotros doesn't have time to think about it for now.

"Honestly, pagkabasa ko noon... di ko naman pinansin eh. May mga nagmessage sa akin mga reporters, asking. Sabi di ko alam yan, tska honestly, di ko yan gagawin. Yun lang. As in, ‘di ko pinansin. Kasi honestly, di ko naman ginawa. Kasi lalaki lang rin yung issue eh," he said.

Vosotros joins Rodel Samboy De Leon, Brandon Bates, Jorey Napoles, Lervin Flores, Joseph Eriobu, Jeffrey Manday, Alfred Batino, Ange Kouame and Joseph Sedurifa in the Gilas pool for 3x3 hoops in Cambodia.

Bolick seems to be available as per the video but wasn't even invited but college kids who went to the US for vacation are? It's weird that these players have a lot of free time now yet aren't even practicing with the team. Who's at fault here?

SBP/PBA/SMC still bitter with Bolick, since he's won't sign a long term contract with Nortport and is probably on the way to Japan once his short term contract expires. We could have used him for the SEA Games, and should be considered for the World Cup

From the video its a player from the other team who first started swinging. Dunno what happened before that though and the players involved (Jalalon, Quinahan, Belga) aren't exactly choir boys.
