Nothing wrong with players defending their coach. Clarkson, Dwight, Pingris and Kelly have good relations with Chot. That’s why it’s natural for them to defend their coach (Chot).

Every player has the right to express themselves whether it is against fellow players, coaches or team management.

Let’s not twist the support of the players to their coaches (Tab and Chot) as having being choreographed and not voluntary. Its the players right to express their support for a particular individual.

Joke Reyes piloted RP U-16 team to 7th place & Batang Gilas U-18 team to 6th place, that is why he is the most deserving person for the job

I feel bad for Castro though.

Castro somewhat showed why JMF should not be in the Gilas squad for FIBA World cup 2023, I don't hate JMF he is a really good basketball player pero internationally he is a liability, He will be ok offensively but on defense Castro @36 is just blowing by him, that and 1-play of Castro in the 4th qtr. says it all

at this point , JMF is just a insurance big until we get someone better (i.e. Edu fully recovering from those injuries)

Niether Japhet nor Erram is good defensively at world level, they were all below average defenders so would rather bring in JF as insurance big/off the bench as he is proven can score even against NBA bigmen.

I will consider Japeth, then Junemar. Yeshkel doesn't like Japeths post offense but I'm worried Junemar will be eaten alive on defense the moment he steps on the court. It's disheartening seeing 5'9 past-prime Castro going for layups in front of him. But if it is just 10 to 15 minutes a game I guess it is ok since he can maximize his energy on defense.

For me beggars can't be choosers and I rather have multiple bigs than wings who's undersized or athletic but don't have an offensive game. Kai, Junmar, Japeth, Edu, Tamayo, Balti should be part of the final 12 imo.

in the list I'll choose Kai, Japeth, Balti and Edu maybe add Phillips in the list, Tamayo is more of SF for rather than a big. If JC will be our NP I wouldn't worry too much on scoring he is a NBA level scorer he can score against best teams in the world just surround him with deadly shooters. We need players who can defend quick players, recover fast and close out on shooters.

If I were MVP, I would sack Chot Reyes for assigning his idiot son to coach a game 7 of a championship. Chot cost MVP a championship with sheer arrogance.

If you were Chot, who would you choose? Sandy already lost two games. To be fair Josh did do a decent job IMO. They just lack players, and the Erram ticking time bomb exploded. SMB just had more fresh players available in the 4th, TNT couldn't keep up. Erram, Khobunti and Ryan Reyes could have helped but they were not available. IMO the refs were already helping by calling touch fouls on Castro's defender. But they just lacked manpower and Mikee was already blanketed.
