Let’s move on na from the Chot Reyes dislike. We cannot do anything about it.

Meanwhile Chot Reyes and Talk ‘N Text ties the series 2-2 all thanks to the 26 points of the ageless Jayson Castro.

Don't have to be a fan of chot to say it's getting old. Just try to backread a little bit & see a bunch of posts hating on chot as if it'll anount to something. You're just looking like a girl with pms with all that complaining

        • Talk ‘N Text are now ahead 3-2 in the Finals. The senior citizens, Jayson Castro and Kelly Williams, are leading the way for TNT.

Chot Reyes is 3-0 in this series against Leo Austria and SMB.

          • Junemar is just playing too many minutes for a guy who broke a leg. Plus he is the offensive and defensive centerpoint of his team.

Leo knows he cant win without Junemar. But ironically he needs to sit Junemar more for Junemar to have something left defensively in the final minutes.

I really like Kellys game its a shame that he didnt get his Gilas glory, and he didnt play under tab baldwin wink wink.. Tab hate his unreliable jumper while chot like his overall game..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
              1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

He could use a small ball on stretches with these guys along with CJ and Ross or any of the other guard combinations at his disposal, you know, just to further cut down on JMF's minutes. Too bad the pressure to win every game is always there to prevent him from experimenting on other tactics/line-ups that could work against the league's better teams.

This is what Ive been saving. Leo is using JF like a carabao, even after a broken leg. At a certain point a coach needs to have more pride and not tie his success to one player.

This is why despite all the 'ships with Leo I still hold Gee Abanillas sole Govs cup as the pinnacle of maximizing JF wo overplaying him. Note the ff AFC Gee was HC in name only as Purves was consultant and they were using his system.

reminds me of Jaworski overworking Dondon Ampalayo (or Bong Solomon?) even after suffering a gruesome knee injury

Looking back on JMF's 2012/13 numbers, especially his mpg that must have been buoyed up by the Gov Cup conference, still suggests a fairly high usage rate for a rookie (i mean Petron didn't have much of a choice as he's their best bigman already). Nevertheless, that was excusable as it was a slim but slowly becoming dominant JMF was the one who logged those minutes.

Me thinks there's a internal memo within the PBA to defend Chot. They could just shut up about the issue, and let their performance do the talking, but they have to resort to this, the victim card

Make dumb moves. Hides behind the players to avoid criticism while blaming fans. Galing talaga.

PBA/SBP ought to be careful with this approach/gaslighting, it could further alienate their thinning fanbase! Specially that it appears that players are now after the booing fans

                            • And yet Brian Goorjian has high praise about PBA and our coaches. People will tag this statement as to please PbA. But the same time he made CBA look low level than PbA. CbA will not appricate that right?
