  • Unlike other guest teams in PBA before. If I am right BAD pays for their own accomodation, use facilities and a fee to PBA. PBA doesn't want to spend huge cost to host guest teams. Unless it will be a huge windfall of profits.

    • Pba definitely cant ignore the success of inviting BAD, weren't there rumblings of a NBL team joining as well.

The bottomline here is our players must benefit more if this would become a reality(long time coming) and another bottomline, are the Granpas are enthusiastic enough that this would be the path the so-called oldest league in Asia will traverse moving forward? We could only get a hint when the Granpas and the BAD management itself announces that they will be back starting next season on a regular basis assuming(hopefully) they win the championship on Sunday. Even though I’m a Brgy fan here since The Sparks era but this time I want some drastic changes in the league.
Honestly, the grandpas are the reason me and other pinoys have stopped watching the PBA.

Vargas and Marcial need to go.

            • From Snow Badua:

Kuliglig told me the Bay Area Dragons had a short shoot around at the PHL Arena earlier this morning.

The team also reportedly was checked in at a to be used Fiba world cup hotel near the PHL Arena.

              • Look for Bay Area to start strong early in Game 7. They are the better 3-pt shooting team.

                      • Nerves hitting BAD? I guess ginebra is used to these sort of situations

                        • dragons will not win by shooting 3s. they need to vary their offense. looks like they are rattled by the atmosphere.

And Ginebra didn't had practices in the venue unlike BAD

                            • Ginebra playing in its native environment. They look more comfortable in the situation. Crowd is helping them.

                              • Brownlee the biggest factor, BAD had an equal at first with Nicholson but with Myles he doesn't contribute much to defense
