  • The UAAP has had more suspect moments than the PBA recently. Barroca, Custodio, the shooting of Mac Baracael. Heck even the ironcoach was openly wondering in forums if Pari Llagas threw the finals. Yet its the PBA that gets all the accusations.

    • Kobey Lam schooling Stanley Pringle in the last three plays. 30 points with like 6 triples.

Aljon also got "Aljon Magkano" names, i think. Hahahahahahaha.

The game fixing shit is mostly thrown on the officials and the refs, though. Favorable calls.

I don't know. I'm only saying what people are saying and how it will affect the PBA going forward.

          • Blankley draining a three, with Brownlee in his face is a back breaker. Bay Area holding Ginebra at bay without Nicholson.

Ginebra seems like having difficulties adjusting against teams who suddenly lost their imports, it happens during the Magnolia series when Rakocevic was tossed out early and only won by a squicker

Damn! Kobey Lam was unconscious in this game

              • I didn't watch the game. I was sure it was a BAD loss without Nicholson, even if I expected the calls were going to favor them. I thought Nicholson's loss was too much to overcome. But surprise. I found Brownlee's stats in game 3 and game 4 interesting.

                ____MIN 2FG FT FOULSON
                G3: 45, 8/16, 15/20, 11
                G4: 45, 9/17, 2/3, 3

You would expect Brownlee would feast inside without Nicholson but the FGs are virtually the same. But what was the difference? Fouls called, particularly fouls with free throws. Brownlee shot 17 less FTs on a game without Nicholson? They have no legit rim protector and yet Brownlee could not foul bait? Without watching the game the simplest explanation would be that refs allowed more physicality on Brownlee's defender. You know who else got 3 FTs? Nicholson in game 3. Coincidence? Or do the refs allow more physicality on defense on one side in alternating games?

That?s too much a stretch. Songwei simply did a good job defending Brownlee. Didn?t see any contact that merits a whistle. The irony is, there was a few of them in Game 3. It is actually in that game that they let the defenders of Brownlee get away with some obvious fouls.
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

series averages so far, curious about the FT disparity, and surprised that bgsm leads the series in rbds

                    • Brownlee hard carrying Ginebra on offense / defense, shame its taken this long to naturalize him but he can still play a vital role for Gilas,

Also if there's someone who can crack the Naturalized but cant play as a local rule on the PBA, its him. If the fans want it enough...

                        • Pba would be dumb (well they are) to ignore the success of guest teams, pba's popularity was at an all time low but BAD v ginebra just sparked public interest in the league again.

Blankley is the type of player I thought Kobe Paras was going to be, sayang I hope its not too late

                            • i want a B League team as a guest team as there's already a "bad blood" but since they have their own season its seems impossible, and i want to see how our teams will fare against a b league team as i think that the Bay Area team is at par or might be better than the top B League team

I don't even know what BAD is. What league do they represent? I think they were formed just recently. Can't gauge a team properly if they haven't played together for some time.

Sucks that their top players are injured. I don't see them winning the series
