The UAAP has had more suspect moments than the PBA recently. Barroca, Custodio, the shooting of Mac Baracael. Heck even the ironcoach was openly wondering in forums if Pari Llagas threw the finals. Yet its the PBA that gets all the accusations.

The game fixing shit is mostly thrown on the officials and the refs, though. Favorable calls.

I didn't watch the game. I was sure it was a BAD loss without Nicholson, even if I expected the calls were going to favor them. I thought Nicholson's loss was too much to overcome. But surprise. I found Brownlee's stats in game 3 and game 4 interesting.
____MIN 2FG FT FOULSON
G3: 45, 8/16, 15/20, 11
G4: 45, 9/17, 2/3, 3
You would expect Brownlee would feast inside without Nicholson but the FGs are virtually the same. But what was the difference? Fouls called, particularly fouls with free throws. Brownlee shot 17 less FTs on a game without Nicholson? They have no legit rim protector and yet Brownlee could not foul bait? Without watching the game the simplest explanation would be that refs allowed more physicality on Brownlee's defender. You know who else got 3 FTs? Nicholson in game 3. Coincidence? Or do the refs allow more physicality on defense on one side in alternating games?

Sucks that their top players are injured. I don't see them winning the series
