Let's hope the crowd and officiating will also be in our favour hehe. I have a feeling we'll get a lot of love this coming WC. I hope we take advantage of it.

Question can the league fine the BAD players for their comments? I didn't watch the game and they COULD be right (stats don't show everything) but the PBA has had players fined or banned for saying a lot less.

Maybe a rag tag team. There is no way you can beat an actual NBL team. I mean their teams that are currently playing during the season.
I can see nbl 1 team. Doubt about NBL team itself..

Well, Marcial just summoned Powell and Blankely for their comments/posts on socmed (though again its the fastbreak times)

edit: this officiating mess is still publicity, gets additional eyes on the PBA product

Hehehe that’s the risk of jumping yourself in that platform..Oh well… That is why I don’t ever attempted to create any accounts be it legit using my real name or even pseudo because I am fully aware that 96% of the overall comment, statement and quotes in that platform are all trash and low-level but if you are a type of person who always want to join the bandwagon what is the latest and norm nowadays just to have the impression of being one of the so-called It guy or It girl then no one’s restricting someone..Indeed HJB is a class act and level headed 22 yr. old dude..BAD needs another brilliant adjustment to level the series come Game 4..the psychological warfare is just heating up expect more to come.

I remember this Hoopdreamz Australia team, a rag tag team of 3rd/2nd division players got pummeled so hard by Yeng's Powerade Team Pilipinas in the first game of their 2 game series that the organizers decided to reinforced the team with 3 PBA imports to make the 2nd game competitive

I could also sea an NBL1 team or all star team here but I would like to see NBL scouts/coaches in the Philippines. Hopefully that would help long term.

Townsville Crocodiles or that team that battle the powerade team taht looks like a basketball selection from your neighborhood condo..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

I posted this on Sept 2022. Seeing this issue pop up, I hate to say it but it seems I was right, and I barely watched the ongoing PBA season.

Long Hair and Kume obviously used the refs too much to their advantage as usual. Only this time, the issue became big enough because it's a foreign team saying it. Generations of PBA players have said that some teams enjoy the "homecourt advantage" which is clearly not referring to the fans...

If the Bay Area Dragons leave the PBA feeling cheated then we can kiss the PBA goodbye. Maybe the Ginebra diehards can sustain the league for some time but I'm certain they're losing big money. There's no point joining a rigged league unless it had money (like the KB- whoops, I mean the NB- whoops, I mean the B Lea- oh okay, they solved it already) and the PBA barely has any. Either there's a complete reorganization from top to bottom with a Commissioner that doesn't take bribes and has integrity or our pro scene will be banned by FIBA again, because there is no way they haven't heard of this. The B League knows this, we shouldn't wait until we experience suspension to learn that lesson.

I think it has been discussed before by zairex (ata) that the league doesnt necessarily look into income/revenue, for companies the PBA is just a big tax writeoff, plus the league functions like a gentleman's club anyway

                              • The PBA will not die without actual competition in the PH market.
