Even happen to Jawato, Aquino, Kobe, etc. Why is it we are hard on our own players and league but ok with other league doing it.
lol terrible comparison. pba teams have only 1 import, all the b-league teams have 3 world imports and they all play heavy minutes. some b-league teams chose to hire asian imports, that's on them if they decide to play them or not & the good asian imports get the minutes. kobe paras gotr heavy minutes early in his first year when he was playing well but as soon as the rest of the league figured him out and paras started having bad games by not adjusting he got lesser minutes. let's see how balti goes the next few games, maybe the one you're complaining about only applies to hiroshima's coach and not the rest of the b-league. also the tactical immaturity comment by tab wasn't about the imports but rather PBA coaches ability to only thrive under the pba rules/style, their tactics don't work in the fiba world level.

Some here said PBA having one import is tactical immaturity not Coach Tab.

You didnt get my point, tactical immaturity people said here is about having one import only. Kindly read my commenta again, dont want to retype the whole thing.

I am not saying every coach but its growing now. Even non Pinoy asian imports don't have much playing time.

            Balti can play SF right?
Anyone who knows basic basketball will not choose to play those midget JP PFs over Baltazar. What can they bring to the team that Balti can't? apart from being fluent in Nihonggo, smh. I'd argue that Balti is even better than JP NT PF mainstay Harimoto.

            • RJ Abarrientos Debut Game Highlights - 17 pts 7 reb 7 ast
RJ dead ball 3 pt layup Highlight
Ethan Alvano Debut Game Highlights - 18 pts 4 reb 10 ast
SJ Belangel Debut Game Highlights - 10 pts 2 reb 2 ast

KOGAS was shooting blanks, SJ was 2-4 3pt while the rest of the team was 0-16. I think the trade of Lee Dae Sung has affected SJ's role on the team a little bit. His playstyle is like that of a prime Dondon Hontiveros. I think KOGAS needs to give SJ the playmaking reins for the team to get good shots, like Shiga did for Kiefer.

If you're referring to me, I never said this. When I said tactical immaturity I'm referring to PBA coaches having outdated playstyles that won't work on FIBA.

Very much agree on the last part.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

                • Papa Dwight with a yeoman's statline - 6 pts 2 reb, 7 ast 2 blk 4 stl

I directly linked this video because a comment says that Dwight never gets love from the refs and the real YT account of Dwight agrees.

I am curios what 6 teams do you think has outdated plays. If one is SMB, then check the play of Slovenia in euro. Basically 5 out with iso play of Doncic.

If you remember a few months ago I promised that I won't be watching the PBA anymore (barring some highlights and the Bay Area Dragons). I don't know much about this season, but referring to the previous ones. Yes, SMB is one of them, TNT, etc. Monkey see monkey do is not enough for me.

I think coaches who have made advancements are in the UAAP, like Coach Tab and Coach Goldwin. We need more of those 2.

Well pretty much a uninformed opinion and without substance. It's a like i hate PBA thats why everything sucks.

Watch Goorjian comments on Noli Eals about both teams. He has some substance.

Which is why besides Ginebra which is the PBA's best team on paper, the PBA is being eaten alive by a guest team? Stop defending the PBA. They're everything that's wrong with PH basketball besides the skill level, and I'm only blaming the coaches and the executives. For example, in other countries farm team means a minor league team's roster that a major league team can pick from. In the PBA it means your fellow playoffs contender. What a joke.

Stop the hate. Eaten alive? BAD won on a buzzer better, won by 6 pts and loss 30pts. Is that fair assessment. I never defended PBA on its unfair trades and NT participation. I wish some of you be critical thinkers rather than simple hating.

Why don't you tell us how outdated the plays of PBA.

Correction: Ginebra beat BAD by 18 points. the lead was as high as 30 points, though.

Just say you dont watch the PBA. Before the Ginebra loss, BAD had difficulty with Converge and Northport. Both games were close at the end especially the Northport game.
