Balti, on the other hand, man, he's between a rock and a hard place. He's already 25 and close to his prime. Needs playing time, but he's not getting any in Hiroshima. In the Philippines, however, he needs to be with a team that can develop and use him PROPERLY, and NT availability post-2023 may be an issue. I guess I should be thankful that Tab further honed his defensive versatility and perimeter skillset for a 4, otherwise he'd end up like a Troy Rosario, Roosevelt Adams, or MGR case if he ends up in the Philippines.
Let this be a lesson to other players. Aside from the pay they should ask the depth chart of the team. If there is a team who plays slightly less but at least guarantees PT they should take it.

More PT means more development, and more development means more opportunities to get better money.

Balti can play SF right?

ROOSEVELT Adams struggled in his first game with Kagawa Five Arrows as they incurred a 91-74 loss to Kumamoto Volters in the 2022-23 Japan B.League second division Saturday at Takamatsu City Gymnasium.
The Fil-Am shooter made two treys but missed his other seven shots as he logged six points and two rebounds off the bench in his Japan debut.
His addition, however, could not help Kagawa stop its four-game skid as it slid to a 1-4 card in its first home game.
Meanwhile, Jordan Heading caught fire in leading Nagasaki Velca to a 103-87 rout of Aomori Wat's at Goto Civic Gymnasium.
The Fil-Aussie gunner was a near-perfect 5-of-6 from deep for his team-high 25 points, to go with an assist and a steal as Nagasaki won three straight games to rise to 4-1.
Kobe Paras once again sat for Altiri Chiba in its 84-65 win over Fukushima Firebonds at Chiba Port Arena.
This allowed Altiri to bounce back and move up to a 3-2 card.

The only thing going for the JP guy is he is Japanese. Nothing wrong with that. But it makes you think why Dragonflies paid good money for Balti and just benched him. He only played 1 game and only 4 minutes and that was when a world import could not play. This is the first time Ive seen something like this in my years of watching basketball.
