He even mentioned that we already have Green and Clarkson in the NBA. Obviously he know nothing about how we feel differently about those two guys as compared to
when Kai is playing in the NBA.
Honestly Tim Cone is pure foreigner but he has been living here in the Philippines and married to a Pinay. He knows more of the culture and speaks Filipino than Green or
Clarkson. That is why I might choose Tim Cone over Green or Clarkson as true Filipino.
I for one 37.5% chinese blood. My grandparents are chinese who migrated from China but I don't consider myself Chinese and I have never step foot on China, Taiwan or Hong
Kong my whole life. Am I a racist? Nope. I am just stating facts. Many of us Filipinos can't relate to Green or Clarkson. It's different if Kai makes it to the NBA. It will have
a different impact. I hope scouts, GMs, owner etc will now understand this matter and will take Kai seriously.

Not everything is good in the KBL tho, The Hur Jae owned team has failed to pay membership fees for 2 consecutive months now, and are in danger of being ousted from the KBL. Meanwhile, 2 other teams have difficulty of paying because of labor strife within the companies, but are allowed to continue.

It is not completely impossible for him to make the NBA, but his mediocre defensive performances in the 2 NBA preseason games make it extremely difficult.
NBA teams are not looking for end of bench last roster spot guys to scorers, they are looking for specialised role players with elite skills. I'm not sure Kai posses any elite skills and is instead mediocre at many facets of the game with far too many major weaknesses.
This NBL season might be make it or break it for Kai. If he has a down year I can see him taking a pay cheque in the Asian leagues like Bleague or KBL.
You have tons of time in this world creating ALTERNICKS. Why not use your old nick and flaunt your takes here in IBN? Our takes are cancerous when we choose to be always positive over your takes which is full of grim and negativity. You could just click the ignore button on my replies then you bask exchanging negativity with your ilk of crabs. Those of your kind who are very angry to the success of others and very envious of youtubers who were earning from Kai's popularity.
If your boy is too confident to bet, then he should simply make a deposit! Who would dare bet on someone who doesn't have an iota of integrity. Someone who is just full of BS and cant hide his ignorant takes.Last edited by PeeZones; 10-12-2022, 02:56 PM.

Ryan Alba reliable?lol mukha nun puro lang theory. You could check his twitter account. He cant even recognize that the issue with late rotation and the pnr problem was with the hard hedging scheme of ADL. How can adl bigs defend rollers when they are giving the roller 3steps headway in those scenarios. Ryan Alba mere writer is way better than Tim Cone when he said that NBA teams were talking about Kai last summer league. Wasserman is wasting their precious time signing a KBL and bleague level player in Kai Sotto.
It is too simple you all negatrons could just hit the ignore button because we dont salivate reading your grim takes. Our unwavering support for kai will forever continue. You should stop peddling your BS kasi WALA KAMING PAKE.HAHAHA

Just realized that a lot of the asians that made it to the NBA are 7-footers. Yao, Haddadi, Bhullar, Zhizhi, Zhou, Bateer, Seung-Jin. Probably because in the NBA you have to be the elite of something...their height were elite (even though mobility was not). Even now, height is the only thing we can be elite at due to outliers like Kai.
With the advent of the Wembanyama era, all teams are going to need a Wembanyama stopper. 7-footers who can bother his shot. I'm not saying Kai will lock down Wemby, but you will need a lengthy player like Kai to have a chance...hopefully.Last edited by Metta; 10-12-2022, 07:27 PM.

I dont think this is Kai's ticket to the NBA. Lateral is needed for you to stop those type of bigs, which Kai does not have. His ticket, if we are looking at his skillset now, would be his interior defense and Offense. Highly attainable with Maturity and some added weight.sigpic

Originally posted by Cocoy Martinbut times have changed as those currently in the league like Yuta and the half asians Rui, Clarkson, Green and OKC's Jaylin Williams are quite skilled and athletic
Those who seemed to be viewed as 'asian-looking' tend to have fringe careers.
It is clearly evident that it there seems to have some silent bias towards asians.

Heck we could even look how retired NBA players like Tmac, or those who never made it to the NBA like Brownlee and how they dominated local asian leagues as the testament to how wide the gap is
