Yeh, I think I will agree with the 30 NBA GM's who decided to pass on drafting Kai. If they thought Kai even had the potential to be an NBA rotational player than you guessed it, he would of been drafted or at the very least be on a two-way contract or training camp deal at the very least.

The scouts and NBA executives who pour so many resources into finding new young talent didn't even deem him worthy enough to attend the Gleague Ignite camp.

Please take your rose coloured glasses off and just see Kai for the player he is right now. Not NBA calibre.

If he one day Kai somehow makes it on an NBA roster, I will be happy to be proven wrong. But for right now, Kai's chances of breaking into the league are slim to none and I'm not the only one who thinks so.

    • If Kai really was a prodigious or generational NBA level talent that many bias Filipino fans seem to think don't you think he get the starting Centre spot over a 34 year old washed up Daniel Johnson?

Johnson on his last legs is superior in every way offensively to Kai minus being a lob threat.

If Kai were to have any chance at sniffing the NBA, he will need to prove to Coach CJ that he is the right man for the starting Centre spot.

So far he has showed nothing on gamedays to show he deserves it.

You were probably part of the crowd that thought Kai was guaranteed to get drafted. Or better yet he was a first round pick lock. How did that work out for you?

It's one thing to be optimistic, delusion is a different kettle of fish.

        • Kai is much more likely to play in the CBA than the NBA.

They were all WRONG including you. Biased like you. I see no difference on the Kai's game versus 2nd or 3rd rotational bigs in any NBA team right now.

Name one? Kai can have a decent game against these NBA bench guys.

So sharing facts and scouting reports is hating? What about Peezones and the others who said bad things about analyzed and others who pointed that Kai is autoeligible for this year?s draft and that he doesn?t need to declare at all? Did you also notice ho biased they were for Kai while you were ?lurking?? So attacking the messenger rather than responding to the message is ok?

I?ve tried many times to have a down to earth discussion about Kai here but even when he went undrafted his fantards still refer to him as if he?s the biggest thing since sliced bread.
If you are very sure of what you are saying then come into the open and expose yourself. Go to the Adelaide FB page and write your thoughts there about Kai on the comment section.

You will get what you ask for ten times haha

BTW you have not answered me. Are you Filipino? Half Filipino? Or something else?

So this writer is lying? I?m just saying the same things he said about Kai LOL
Yes he is wrong. Because he is.

Why? Because Kai is a decent rotational big for an NBA team.

Why? Because everyone is looking at what Kai is not going to be. Let Kai be Kai. If you know what I mean. Not everyone is like Lebron who can play every position and dominate. What I mean is, Kai is a decent rotational big. Base your judgment on that standard and Kai is definitely not far away from NBA bench guys right now.

In fact my expectations with Kai were so basic - Rik Smits was in fact my comparison - so you’re obviously barking up the wrong tree, better talk to Peezones (or yourself) about setting lofty expectations for Kai.

Oh and yes Kai sucked on defense during the 2 NBA games LOL
Why not answer my question if you are a Filipino or not? And yet here you are on Kai Sotto thread ever since.

It is amazing how a person like would have so much time and interest on Kai Sotto and be always the opposing guy.

Does hating Kai makes you happy? or just being right all time make you happy?

Sometimes your reasonings are correct and I may agree on you on some cases. But man, you are some kind of something else that wants everyone's attention haha.

Anyway Kai will still make it to the NBA regardless of what these scouts, GMs, writer and like you say negative bout him.

It's just impossible for Kai not to make it.

                          Are those 2 homegrown?

It’s already the 2020s and the Pinoy diaspora has been going on for a full century.

Oh and using your logic then we should send a 100% homegrown team to FIBA tourneys eh?
                            What logic?

I don't think you are a Filipino haha.

Just my observation. I think you are a foreigner who married a Pinay. You are not confirming nor denying anything so we are free to think anything bout you haha.

Home grown are those players that speak Filipino and the culture of Filipino. Unfortunately I don't feel and see Green and Clarkson as kababayan because I can't relate to them

Hahahaha. No sir. I just want to put all things on context.

What is your motivation on being the villain to Kai Sotto supporters? What is driving you to waste so much energy, time, effort etc just to prove us wrong?

Aren't you tired? You already got what you wanted. You were right and Kai was not drafted hooray.. so why are you still here?

I just can't figure you out. Nakakaawa ka nga e sometimes.
