This like a Kai Sotto situation on a lower level.

For me, he needs to dislodge his Japanese teammates in order for him to get PT.
Coaches would usually go deep in their bench when they have a big deficit. But no. I havent seen a boxscore with plus minus for B league but I suspect the JP guy would have a negative one. If you are into conspiracy theories you might even think they paid him a lot of money just to bench him.

Then there is a 6'5/6'4 guard forward and the 6'3 JP PF. Ironically Carino got more PT than him. Hiroshima paid a lot, even bringing his family there. I hope he gets training in practice because win or lose he gets zero PT.
And I'd prefer him abroad because I have little faith in the PBA in terms of NT availability, and the B.League follows the FIBA calendar. Also, will he be developed correctly, and not be forced to buk up or end up being a Troy Rosario case? I may be overreacting, but seeing how only a few PBA teams have developed players right (NorthPort, Yeng teams, and maybe Ginebra and Magnolia), you can see my lack of faith.

While he didnt have mich stats, I would say their lead was kept while he was on the floor. And it is not as if they are winning. Yesterday they had a double digit deficit for all of the 2nd half. Their two tallest guys were in foul trouble. But they chose to play small ball. And they still lost by double digits.
If Baltazar was as popular as Kai pinoys will be all other to Hiroshima Dragonflies' SocMed accounts.

Wembanyama needs to come to NBA fast and change the game again so bigs and 7 footers like kai will have high value than the guards again. Same when Shaq, duncan, olajuwon etc dominated in the 90s and 2000s.
