The other stakeholders with a genuine love for the sport should make a move and replace the well-entrenched rotten tomatoes in our federation. Not an easy job but with Mr. Eala now at the helm of PSC I'm sure there are others who are equally influential and have major clouts to start the ball rolling for the SBP shake-up.
Basically, if you’re a baller in this country, GTFO as fast possible.

As well meaning as Noli Eala may be, but he works for the govt. SBP is an independent private entity that is a member of world governing body that is FIBA. FIBA doesnt allow government interventions

Yup his interests have changed since he was unceremoniously replaced by Long Hair. But even he said that the government shouldn't involve themselves in Gilas so temper expectations.

Sorry but that's a bunch of horsesh*t from FIBA. Remind me again what kind of government China has?

It might be a hard pill to swallow but this is how it is.

You cant expect CJ to field in Kai for the sake of satisfying his followers over them winning games with DJ, Franks and even Harris inside.
Of course the coach will first save his ass by making sure he wins games over than trying to develop a player and lose games.

Kai just have to prove to the team that he is more valuable over the other bigs when he is inside.
Its just sad to see that it seems like Hyrum Harris and Nick Marshall has overtaken him in the minutes ladder.

He must play harder on defense. Try to mix it under the paint more by contesting all shots inside while hes on the floor.
And on offense show that he has a reliable jumpshot and post move...
He cant just rely on alley hoop passes and pick and roll opportunities...

Basically pleading the BLeague to not poach their upcoming/current top talent, because it's affecting the local basketball scene and the national team

embarrassing isnt it? PBA thin king that they have first dibs on every local player in the country. And the irony is once the hype dies down, they'll just easily discard said prospect and move to another.

How come they hadn't done the same with the KBL , NBL or the Taiwan leagues? Or ABL in the past?

That's the thing on offence. He's having trouble posting up and his jumpers come and go.. if I were to guess he's probably showing the same stuff in practice that's why they haven't been going to him more. That's why they're using him where he is more effective, lobs and rolls

                        • Samsung is looking for a substitute Asian player to replace Navarro: https://twitter.com/heoball/status/1...P_haUSeDg&s=19

Heoball also mentioned that KBL teams can sign players until January.

There's time to sign the likes of Quiambao and Carl, then.

I dont think they can wait since they were last place last season. Kemark Carino is available.

Samsung can't wait. But Suwon KT, Jeonju KCC, and Seoul SK don't have an Asian import, maybe those three can.

It's Jalen Smith all over again, be a good player on your own right but have no opportunities to shine. Then when he's traded to Indiana he shows his potential and now the Suns are hungering for a cheap, young, rebounding big man...who they just traded away. Now they gotta stick with Dario Saric who's half out of the NBA.

I understand 100% the mentality to make Kai earn his minutes, but at the same time he can't develop if he has 0 PT. It's one thing to promise to develop him, it's another to renege on that promise and do your own thing anyway, which Adelaide is (sadly) doing after they sacked Henry.
