If I had to guess schools like FEU are being gracious because they have no choice. Its not like they can come close to the number.

    • Im not saying dont pay college students what they are worth but rather somehow that money be funneled to NIL deals so our top prospects can play D1 basketball.

Ive been monitoring Balti and he has barely played in their two friendlies so far. Although, scrimmaging against world imports is good training I still hope he gets enough minutes to work on his skills in actual games.
What do you mean not featured?

I hope you do watch him play. Compare that to local japanese and he is 3rd in the team in minutes played, just alittle behind world import.
As magic_chiongson said, he is under utilized.

Kai's minutes were already limited last season even though most of their big men were injured. What more now when half of their roster are big men (6 big men)? If Kai still has no minutes in the NBA preseason with 48 minutes of playing time, Wass should really think hard about Kai continuing to play with ADL this season.
I'd be wary of this kind of move again. Doing it so often might get him labeled as problematic. He could just sign with another team once his contract finishes.

Well most of that players are not our top players and only one PBA player without prep time. No naturalized. China hasn't been winning against top teams and not have achieve top 4 status.

              • Currently watching SPB (Venezuela pro league) - Margarita vs Guayana. I believe they are in the playoffs right now based on the responses I received from the Venezuelans. I have been watching LatAm leagues (SPB and LNBP) for a couple of weeks now.

I noticed that some pro leagues in LatAm commence their season midyear. Maybe the reason is that they don't want to compete with football.

I am wondering how good these leagues compared to NBL (Australia)?

I'm just curious, how many foreign imports are allowed? Do they also allow ala "Asian import" rule their like a "Latin import" and if, how many?

per LNBP (Mexico), they are allowed to have 3 world imports, 2 south american players, and 2 pochos (Mexican-Americans). in total, teams are allowed to enlist 5 imports.

per SPB (Venezuela), they are only allowed two have to world imports.

per NBB (Brazil), they are allowed a maximum of three imports.

True, Kai has to EARN his minutes, as I mentioned before, hindi ung team ang mag aadjust kay Kai.

Mexicos rule on MexAms makes the PBA's Fil-Am rule less racist lol

                        • The unholy alliance of SBP and PBA is ruining our local basketball universe. They don't serve the interest of the nation but for the greedy few. The other stakeholders with a genuine love for the sport should make a move and replace the well-entrenched rotten tomatoes in our federation. Not an easy job but with Mr. Eala now at the helm of PSC I'm sure there are others who are equally influential and have major clouts to start the ball rolling for the SBP shake-up.

Everyone in our basketball universe serves there own interest first. Especially Eala when he was with SMC.

Exactly. Kai is not showing enough and not good enough to be a starter now at Adelaide. He still has deficiencies that needs to be improved and developed. He has to EARN his playing minutes starting at the practices. It is Kai that needs to adjust and not Adelaide.

That may be true but it's a different story now. He's in his post for a reason. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Eala or whoever has the guts and goods to initiate change in the present setup will do for me.
