Why not allow Navarro to play for the PBA team which drafted him as a special draftee? Unless of course Northport has a falling out with Navarro since said player opted to commit to play in the KBL while he has a live contract with Northport.
Anyways, Philstar says he got called up to the Gilas pool.

There are a lot of Pinoys in JP. Also online we are among the most engaged in the world. The presence of world imports definitely makes B league better than the PBA. If the PBA had 2 imports the whole year round and they didnt have farm teams whose role is to lose games then they would equal the B league.
If you think about it why do Japan keep on losing to China dispate they are supposed to handle tall players. Just like PBA, they relay on their import the most. Alot of one on one plays at the end of thoer sets.

SBP should release Navarro so that the latter can sign up with Northport. Since Malonzo would most likely leave Northport to go to Ginebra, then Malonzo's spot at Northport could be taken by Navarro. Navarro, just like any other players, needs to earn a living naman."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Even at Gilas, Dwight is a scorer as well. As we can see, Dwight isn't really like a Gabe Norwood who is a mere role player lang talaga who specialized in perimeter defense."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Point taken on the asa sa import, though. And our Asian imports have better numbers than their Japanese teammates. For the not-top teams, it's just the import that raises the level of play in the team and the leagues, e.

A far cry from his Gilas performance against Lebanon (10 points and 8 rebounds in 31 minutes) and Saudi Arabia (16 points and 13 rebounds in 22 minutes). Its a totally different jungle out there in the NBL compared to Asia as we all can clearly see.
But you have to applaud him when he’s not on the floor cheering his teammates from the bench.
More importantly Adelaide is now 2-0

Knee jerk reactions and all, this is still preseason. But with this (Adelaide 36ers) team’s build, it better run. So Kai should either keep up or ride the pine. I’d be happy to see Kai on at least an 18 mpg role. Realistically though, I think he’d be closer to 15mpg, which is not bad in itself. I agree on DJ’s minutes, it should be dialed down.
I think Coach CJ is just taking a look with Cleaveland at the 4 for a while now. But nonetheless, ADL has an abundance of options with Franks, Harris and Galloway as bigs. Kai should toughen himself up esp mentally as it looks like it’s gonna be a bumpy ride this season.Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

You can blame a player all they want but that's only if they get ample playing time. Unless you're Lebron James, PT is wholly a coach's decision.
And lest people forget, Kai barely got any playing time in the beginning of last season, got injured, then only started to have 15+ mins of playing time when Adelaide was going down and out of the playoffs.
